Scripture says,“ Do not stop an ox from eating while it helps separate the grain from the straw.”( Deuteronomy 25:4) Scripture also says,“ Workers are worthy of their pay.”( Luke 10:7)

誰為軍士、食己之餉乎、誰樹葡萄園、不食其果乎、誰牧羊群、不食羊群之乳乎、我言此、豈如人言、律法不亦如是言乎、摩西律法載云、碾穀之牛、勿籠其口、天主豈為牛慮乎、抑特為我言之乎、固為我載之、蓋耕者必以望而耕、碾穀者亦必因望而碾、即得穀之望也、

主亦如此命傳福音者、賴福音以養生、

居其家、則飲食隨其所有、蓋工得其值、宜也、勿由此家移至彼家、

行路勿囊、勿二衣、勿履、勿杖、蓋工得其食、宜也、

傭人貧乏、無論同族及旅於爾地、寄居於爾邑之外邦客旅、不可欺之、當日必給以值、勿待至日沒、因其貧乏、心慕其值、恐彼為爾故呼籲於主而罪歸爾、○

毋欺人、毋強據、傭人之值、毋留至明晨、

爾以為聖經所言徒然乎、居於我內之神、居於我內之神或作天主所賜居於我內之神乃使人懷慾以致嫉妒乎、或作經載云居於我內之神甚欲我熱中服之爾意是言徒然乎

經載云、凡信之者、必不致於羞愧、

按經所載、天主預知後將使異邦人、由信稱義、故預傳福音於亞伯拉罕曰、萬族將藉爾受福、

經何云、亞伯拉罕信天主、天主即視此為亞伯拉罕之義、

經載主語法老曰、我立爾、特為以爾顯示我能、使我名傳揚於天下、

天主未棄其所預知之民、爾豈不知經所載論以利亞乎、其訟以色列人籲天主曰、
