道栽培於心、祗承以救爾魂、

夫子我所眷愛、譬彼麀鹿、遊於庇得之山、曷歸曷歸、待夕已過、待旦已明、然後相離。

以前此私欲溺志、則革其故態、

爾曹皆昭昭如旦晝人、我儕非昏昏如暮夜人、我不可若眾寢、必儆醒謹守、因寢者夜寢、醉者夜醉、惟我為旦晝人、宜謹守、以仁信護厥胸、以望得救為兜鍪、

衣上帝所賜甲胄、敵魔之詭譎、蓋我所與戰者、不第血氣之人、乃權力、及暗世之君、在空惡神、故取上帝所賜甲冑、可以禦難、勝後屹立不動、是當強固、腰束以誠、胸護以義、備平和福音之履、以信為盾、撲滅惡敵火箭、以救為兜鍪、所執則聖神之劍、是上帝之道也、用常祈禱、誠心懇求、專務儆醒、為聖徒籲告、

勿圖情欲、以任所嗜、惟主耶穌基督是佩是服、

夫光臨世、而人作惡、愛暗過於光、此所以定罪也、作不善者惡光、而不就光、恐所行見責、循真理者就光、以彰其所行、遵上帝而行之、○

又曰、時日將至、書中預言勿秘、

眛爽戮貧乏、夤夜刧貨財。暮則行淫、自蔽其容、意謂人不得見。穿窬於昏夜、匿跡於旦晝、不以昭昭為樂、視日之明、同於陰翳、暗昧之地、人之所慮、彼之所習。

是日也、人以所作之金銀偶像、居恆所崇拜者、投於鼹鼠蝙蝠之穴。

時日將至、聞其預言、讀其紀載、而守之者、必蒙福祉、○
