緣此、知時已屆、今宜自寐而寤、蓋我儕得救、較初信時為尤近、

既知斯時即爾由睡宜醒之時、則當遵此以行、蓋我儕得救、今較初信之時愈近矣、

且吾人亦不可昧於時義、須知今茲已為醒於睡夢之時。何則、吾人蒙救之日、已較初信之時、日近一日矣。

And do this, understanding the present time: The hour has already come for you to wake up from your slumber, because our salvation is nearer now than when we first believed.

When you do these things, keep in mind the times we are living in. The hour has already come for you to wake up from your sleep. The full effects of our salvation are closer now than when we first believed in Christ.

Besides this you know the time, that the hour has come for you to wake from sleep. For salvation is nearer to us now than when we first believed.

This is all the more urgent, for you know how late it is; time is running out. Wake up, for our salvation is nearer now than when we first believed.

末期伊邇、故當廉節、儆醒祈禱、

爾曹皆昭昭如旦晝人、我儕非昏昏如暮夜人、我不可若眾寢、必儆醒謹守、因寢者夜寢、醉者夜醉、惟我為旦晝人、宜謹守、以仁信護厥胸、以望得救為兜鍪、

經云、寢宜寤、死當起、基督賜爾光、

宜儆醒、勿犯罪、有人不知上帝、吾言此以愧爾、

是宜儆醒、以不知家主至於何時、或昏暮、或夜半、或鷄鳴、或平旦、恐突如其來、遇爾寢焉、故我告爾、亦以告眾者、儆醒是也、

上帝有命、天地一新、義處乎中、我儕所望、良朋望此、則當黽勉、無玷無疵安然見、主由是觀之、主寛容我、我儕得救、我良朋保羅、賴所賦之智、以書達汝、

兄帝乎、言及時期、無庸我書、蓋爾詳知主日將至、猶盜乘夜猝來、人自謂平康安固、而禍突至、猶妊婦劬勞、其人不得免、

甫有此事、當興起翹首、以贖爾近矣、

故當儆醒、以爾不知主至何時也、若家主知盜何更至、則必儆醒、不致穴其室、此爾所知也、是以爾當預備、因不意之時、人子至矣、

語汝者曰、我實速至、約翰曰、主耶穌歟、願爾速至、

且爾竭心思、為所當為、轉瞬之間、即歸於土、在彼無工作、無計謀、無智慧。

此亦可為我鑒、摩西筆之於書、以警我後世、

賞罰在我、我必速至、視人行為而報之、

兄弟乎、吾言今而後、窘逼之時也、故有妻者、當如無妻、哭者、當如無哭、喜者、當如無喜、買者、當如無得、享世勿過度、蓋變遷者世故、

遂至門徒所、見其寢、謂彼得曰、爾不能偕我儆醒片時乎、儆醒也、祈禱也、免入誘惑也、心願而身疲耳、
