倘吾儕識真理後、故背教、無復贖罪之祭、乃觳觫待刑、上帝震怒、使逆理者翦滅、

我子所羅門、宜知爾父之上帝、誠心悅意事之、蓋耶和華鑒察人心、知悉人意、求之無弗得、遺之永見棄。

於是、上帝弗恤、聽其奉事天上列宿、先知書有云、以色列族乎、爾於曠野四十年、非以犧牲祭物獻我歟、

斯民違逆、使聖神懷憂、故耶和華視若讎民、而攻擊之。

耶和華與、以色列族所望、違之者、愧恥蒙於一身、耶和華為活水之源、棄之者、臭名遺於萬世。

往迓亞撒、告之曰、亞撒及猶大、便雅憫二族、其聽我言、如爾從耶和華、則蒙其祐、求之無弗得、遺之必見棄。

昔我告王曰、凡宗事我上帝者、必蒙其祐、棄之者必干其怒、今若求王、以騎兵步卒賜我禦敵、則我必深以為恥。

如善人去善就惡、行諸不義、我所痛疾者、豈得保生乎、其所行之善、不復追憶、既犯罪作惡、必使之亡。

罪人惡黨、同歸於盡、凡棄我者、淪胥以亡。

爾曹棄我耶和華、忘我聖山、司命者備筵以尊之、司數者灌奠以奉之。我有命、爾不應、我有言、爾不從、我所不悅者、爾故為之、我所不喜者、爾故舉之、必數爾罪、使屈身受戮。

如爾反是、恆從爾中遺民、與之嫁娶往來、則當知爾上帝耶和華必不再驅斯民於爾前、斯民必陷爾於坎阱、為爾目中之刺、肘下之棘、迨爾滅亡、在爾上帝耶和華所賜之腴壤。今日我將逝世、無異凡民、乃爾一心一意、知爾上帝耶和華所許之福、萬無一失、毋或少遺。爾上帝耶和華所許諸福、既臨於爾、爾反其道、則爾上帝耶和華亦必使諸禍降臨、迨爾滅亡、在爾上帝耶和華所賜之腴壤。
