主啊！人活著是在於這些，我的靈存活，也在於這些。所以求你使我恢復健康，使我存活。

Lord, by such things people live; and my spirit finds life in them too. You restored me to health and let me live.

Lord, people find the will to live because you keep your promises. And my spirit also finds life in your promises. You brought me back to health. You let me live.

O Lord, by these things men live, and in all these is the life of my spirit. Oh restore me to health and make me live!

Lord, your discipline is good, for it leads to life and health. You restore my health and allow me to live!

他使你受苦，任你飢餓，把你和你的列祖不認識的嗎哪賜給你吃，使你知道人活著，不是單靠食物，更要靠耶和華口裡所出的一切話。

人在床上被痛苦懲治，他的骨頭不住地痛苦掙扎，以致他的生命厭惡食物，他的胃口也厭惡美食，他的肌肉消瘦以致看不見，以前看不見的骨頭，現在都凸出來。他的性命接近深坑，他的生命靠近滅命的天使。在一千位天使之中，若有一位作人的中保，指示人當行的事，恩待他，說：‘救贖他免下深坑；我已經得到了贖價。’他的肌肉就比孩童的更嫩，他更恢復滿有青春活力的日子。他向神祈求，神就喜悅他，他也歡呼著朝見神的面，人又恢復自己的義。他在人面前歌唱，說：‘我犯了罪，顛倒是非，但我沒有受到應得的報應。他救贖我的性命免入深坑，我的生命必得見光明。’

你使我們經歷了很多苦難，你必使我們再活過來，你必把我們從地的深處救上來。

然而我們被主審判的時候，是受他的管教，免得和世人一同被定罪。

因為我們短暫輕微的患難，是要為我們成就極大無比、永遠的榮耀。

肉身的父親照著自己的意思管教我們，只有短暫的日子；唯有神管教我們，是為著我們的好處，使我們在他的聖潔上有分。但是一切管教，在當時似乎不覺得快樂，反覺得痛苦；後來卻為那些經過這種操練的人，結出平安的果子來，就是義。

我快要歸回塵土，求你按著你的話把我救活過來。

耶穌回答：“經上記著：‘人活著，不是單靠食物，更要靠神口裡所出的一切話。’”

你善待那些喜歡行義，在你的道路上記念你的人。看哪！你曾發怒，因為我們犯了罪；這樣的情形已經很久，我們還能得救嗎？
