以水之洗與道而潔之、使之成聖、俾立於己前為榮耀之教會、無瑕垢縐容等類之疵、乃聖潔純全無玷、

蓋我乃主爾之天主、我為聖、爾亦當自成聖潔、毋因運行於地之昆蟲、致己不潔、我乃主、導爾出伊及地、欲為爾之天主、我聖爾亦當聖、

惟爾曹乃蒙選之族、有王位之祭司、成聖之國、屬主之民、主召爾出幽暗、入其妙光、欲爾宣揚其德、

爾曹又遺忘勸爾如子之言曰、我子、主懲爾、勿藐視、主責爾、勿喪膽、蓋主懲其所愛者、撲其所納之子、

彼為我儕舍己、以贖我儕出於諸惡、亦潔我儕為其選民、熱心為善、

召爾者乃聖、爾當效之、舉動皆聖、蓋經載云、我聖矣、爾亦當聖、

今天主以耶穌肉身受死、使爾與己復和、俾爾成聖、無有瑕疵、無可指摘、而立於其前、

亦如活石、被建為神室、又為聖潔之祭司、賴耶穌基督獻天主所悅納之神祭、
