我震怒以東、必使我民以色列族、侵伐其土地、以雪我忿、使知我實降是災、我耶和華已言之矣。

我必藉我民以色列的手报复以东；以色列民必照我的怒气，按我的忿怒在以东施报，以东人就知道是我施报。这是主耶和华说的。”

假我民以色列之手、依我烈怒大忿、行報復於以東、使知我之報復、主耶和華言之矣、○

我必藉我民以色列之手、復報以東人、彼必循我之盛忿烈怒、行刑在以東、使以東人知我如何加報、此乃主天主所言、○

I will take vengeance on Edom by the hand of my people Israel, and they will deal with Edom in accordance with my anger and my wrath; they will know my vengeance, declares the Sovereign Lord.’”

I will use my people Israel to pay Edom back. They will punish Edom because my anger against it is great. They will know how I pay back my enemies,” announces the Lord and King.

And I will lay my vengeance upon Edom by the hand of my people Israel, and they shall do in Edom according to my anger and according to my wrath, and they shall know my vengeance, declares the Lord God.

I will accomplish this by the hand of my people of Israel. They will carry out my vengeance with anger, and Edom will know that this vengeance is from me. I, the Sovereign Lord, have spoken!

願兆民服役爾側、列國拜跪爾前、兄弟以爾為主、同母者無不稽首、詛爾者必見詛、祝爾者必見祝。○

西侵非利士人之境、東擄敵之輜重、伐以東、摩押、俾亞捫族歸服焉。

耶和華乃上帝、有不敬者、斷不容之、不敬之人、耶和華必以為敵、憤怒奮發、加以重罰、屢怒不已。耶和華能力甚大、雖不遽怒、然恆於惡者、不蒙赦宥、耶和華涖臨、若颶風狂飆之驟起、視雲若足下之塵、一叱咤而海水涸、汲道絕矣、巴山加密已荒蕪矣、利巴嫩之榮華、倏然凋謝矣、

故耶和華曰、時日將至、我必使戰鬥之聲、聞於亞捫族之喇巴邑、城垣變為瓦礫、居民盡遭焚燬、以色列族、昔為敵所虜、後轉虜其敵。

伸冤在我、我必報之、斯時也、其足傾跌、禍及其身、所定速至。蓋耶和華必代其民而伸冤、為其臣而回志、鑒觀於下、知民力已廢、或主或僕、靡有孑遺。

籲呼山巖壓己、不令坐位之主見之、及為羔所怒、蓋羔大怒之日至矣、孰能當之、

選民曰、來自以東破斯喇邑、具大力。衣麗服、染血淋漓、果何人與、主曰、乃我踐言、力拯斯民也。選民曰、爾衣甚赭、若踐酒醡、誠何故哉。主曰、踐酒醡者、無他、我也、我震怒、蹂躪異邦人、血污衣襟。蓋救民之時伊邇、我意必伸其冤。我見輔翼無人、不勝錯愕、故展力發憤、手援選民。我怒異邦人、踐之於足下、使之搖撼靡定、若醉以酒、流其血於地。

故我耶和華指己而誓、因爾娼嫉我民、銜憾無已、俾爾遭慘報、我必罰爾、而施恩我民、

惡人受刑、而遭殺戮、義者喜悅、足履其血。人曰為善者降之祥、上帝帝天下兮。

吾知經所載、主曰、伸冤在我、我必報之、經又曰、主必鞫其民、遭永生上帝譴、伊可畏也、
