你進去取得他們的地、並不是因你的美德，也不是因你心裏的正直，乃是因這些國的人的惡，永恆主你的上帝才把他們從你面前趕出，又是因永恆主要實行他向你列祖亞伯拉罕、以撒、雅各、所起誓的話。

你们能占领他们的土地并非因为你们公义、行为正直。你们的上帝耶和华从你们面前赶走那些民族，是因为他们邪恶，也是为了实现祂给你们祖先亚伯拉罕、以撒和雅各的誓言。

爾之入據其地、非為爾義、及心之正、乃爾上帝耶和華因斯族之惡、而驅逐之、以踐所誓爾祖亞伯拉罕以撒雅各之言、

爾之得土、非為爾正心行義、乃為斯民行惡、爾之上帝耶和華、驅之於爾前、以踐其所誓爾祖亞伯拉罕、以撒、雅各之言。

爾之得入而獲其地、非為爾之善、非為爾之正心、乃為斯民之惡、主爾之天主逐之於爾前、亦為主欲應所誓於爾祖亞伯拉罕以撒雅各之言、

It is not because of your righteousness or your integrity that you are going in to take possession of their land; but on account of the wickedness of these nations, the Lord your God will drive them out before you, to accomplish what he swore to your fathers, to Abraham, Isaac and Jacob.

You are not going in to take over their land because you have done what is right or honest. It’s because those nations are so evil. That’s why the Lord your God will drive them out to make room for you. He will do what he said he would do. He made a promise to your fathers, to Abraham, Isaac and Jacob.

Not because of your righteousness or the uprightness of your heart are you going in to possess their land, but because of the wickedness of these nations the Lord your God is driving them out from before you, and that he may confirm the word that the Lord swore to your fathers, to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob.

It is not because you are so good or have such integrity that you are about to occupy their land. The Lord your God will drive these nations out ahead of you only because of their wickedness, and to fulfill the oath he swore to your ancestors Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.

You are not going to take possession of their land because of your righteousness or your integrity. Instead, the LORD your God will drive out these nations before you because of their wickedness, in order to fulfill the promise he swore to your ancestors Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.

It is not because of your righteousness or the uprightness of your heart that you are going in to take possession of their land, but it is because of the wickedness of these nations that the Lord your God is driving them out from before you, and in order to confirm the oath which the Lord swore to your fathers, to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.

You are not going to take possession of their land because of your righteousness or your integrity. Instead, the Lord your God will drive out these nations before you because of their wickedness, in order to keep the promise He swore to your fathers, Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.

Instead, because of the wickedness of these nations the LORD your God is driving them out ahead of you in order to confirm the promise he made on oath to your ancestors, to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.

Not for your righteousness or for the uprightness of your heart do you go in to possess their land; but for the wickedness of these nations Yahweh your God does drive them out from before you, and that he may establish the word which Yahweh swore to your fathers, to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob.

他救了我們，不是由於我們所行的有甚麼本於義的行為，乃是按照他的憐憫，藉着再生之洗和聖靈之更新力。

我要將你現在寄居的地，就是迦南全地，賜給你和你以後的苗裔，做永遠的產業；我還要做他們的上帝。』

永恆主向亞伯蘭顯現，說：『我要把這地賜給你的後裔。』亞伯蘭就在那裏給向他顯現的永恆主築了一座壇。

永恆主又對亞伯蘭說：『我是永恆主，曾領你出了迦勒底的吾珥，為的是要將這地賜給你，使你取得它為基業。』

你所看見的一切地，我都要賜給你和你的後裔，直到永遠。

我必使你的後裔增多、如同天上的星；我必將這一切地都賜給你的後裔；地上萬國都必用你後裔的名來給自己祝福。

然而我卻為我名的緣故而行事，免得我的名在列國人眼前被褻瀆，我領我人民出埃及就是在這些列國人眼前的。

看哪，永恆主站在他旁邊，說：『我是永恆主，你祖父亞伯拉罕的上帝，以撒的上帝；你所躺臥的地我要賜給你和你的後裔。

求你懷念你的僕人亞伯拉罕、以撒、以色列；你曾指着自己向他們起誓，說：「我必使你們的後裔增多、像天上的星；我必將我所說到的這全地給你們的後裔；他們必永遠承受為產業。」』

按接受福音來說呢，為了你們的益處、他們算為仇敵；但按揀選來說呢，他們卻因了列祖的緣故是蒙愛者。

我說、基督為要顯明上帝的真誠，就做了受割禮之猶太人的僕役，要證實對列祖所發的應許，

你必向雅各顯為可信可靠，必向亞伯拉罕施堅固的愛，就是古時日子你向我們列祖所起誓應許的。

你們呢、乃是神言人們的子孫，又是上帝向你們列祖所立的約的子孫；立約時上帝對亞伯拉罕說：「地上萬家族都必因你的後裔而蒙祝福。」

我們呢、也將上帝向列祖所答應的應許這好消息傳給你們，說：上帝怎樣向我們做兒女的應驗了這事，叫耶穌復起，正如《詩篇》第二篇所記的說：「你是我的兒子，我今日生了你。」

他扶助了他的僕人以色列，來記念自己的憐憫、就是向亞伯拉罕和他後裔所施到永遠，照主自己對我們列祖所說過的。』
