『故此你要知道永恆主你的上帝將這美好之地賜給你去取得它，並不是因你的美德；你本是脖子硬的人民。

“你当知道，耶和华你神将这美地赐你为业，并不是因你的义；你本是硬着颈项的百姓。

“你当知道，耶和华—你的上帝将这美地赐你为业，并不是因你的义；你本是硬着颈项的百姓。

“你当知道，耶和华—你的神将这美地赐你为业，并不是因你的义；你本是硬着颈项的百姓。

你们要知道，耶和华赐给你们那佳美之地不是因为你们有好品德。其实你们是顽固不化的人。

你要知道，耶和华你的神把这美地赐给你作产业，并不是因着你的义；你本来是顽固的民族。

「你當知道，耶和華－你神將這美地賜你為業，並不是因你的義；你本是硬着頸項的百姓。

「你當知道，耶和華－你的上帝將這美地賜你為業，並不是因你的義；你本是硬着頸項的百姓。

「你當知道，耶和華－你的神將這美地賜你為業，並不是因你的義；你本是硬着頸項的百姓。

你們要知道，耶和華賜給你們那佳美之地不是因為你們有好品德。其實你們是頑固不化的人。

你要知道，耶和華你的神把這美地賜給你作產業，並不是因著你的義；你本來是頑固的民族。

當知爾上帝耶和華非為爾義、錫爾沃壤為業、爾乃強項之民、

然爾實強項不馴、爾當知爾上帝耶和華、非為爾義、錫爾腴壤、使爾據之、

爾當知主爾之天主非為爾善、以此美地賜爾為業、爾實為強項之民、

Understand, then, that it is not because of your righteousness that the Lord your God is giving you this good land to possess, for you are a stiff-necked people.

The Lord your God is giving you this good land to take as your own. But you must understand that it isn’t because you are a godly nation. In fact, you are stubborn.

“ Know, therefore, that the Lord your God is not giving you this good land to possess because of your righteousness, for you are a stubborn people.

You must recognize that the Lord your God is not giving you this good land because you are good, for you are not— you are a stubborn people.

Understand that the LORD your God is not giving you this good land to possess because of your righteousness, for you are a stiff-necked people.

“ Know, then, that it is not because of your righteousness that the Lord your God is giving you this good land to possess, for you are a stubborn people.

Therefore understand that the Lord your God is not giving you this good land to possess because of your righteousness, for you are a stiff-necked people.

Know therefore, that Jehovah thy God giveth thee not this good land to possess it for thy righteousness; for thou art a stiffnecked people.

Understand that the Lord your God is not giving you this good land to possess because of your righteousness, for you are a stiff-necked people.

Understand therefore, that the LORD thy God giveth thee not this good land to possess it for thy righteousness; for thou[ art] a stiffnecked people.

Understand, therefore, that it is not because of your righteousness that the LORD your God is about to give you this good land as a possession, for you are a stubborn people!

Know therefore that Yahweh your God doesn’t give you this good land to possess for your righteousness, for you are a stiff- necked people.

因為我深知你們的悖逆、你們的脖子硬；看哪，我今日還活着、和你們同在，你們尚且悖逆永恆主，何況我死後呢？

所以你們要給你們的心行割禮，不可再硬着脖子。

『永恆主又對我說：「我看這人民真是脖子硬的人民。

『頸項剛硬、心與耳沒受割禮的人哪，你們永遠抗拒聖靈；你們的祖宗怎樣，你們也怎樣。

永恆主對摩西說：『我看這人民，嗐，真是脖子硬的人民。

『早先的事我從上古就告訴人了，已由我口中發出，說給人聽了；我突然間作它，事便成就。因為我知道你剛愎，你脖子是鐵的肌肉，你的額是銅的，

你們要上那流奶與蜜之地；但你們既是脖子硬的人民，我就不在你們中間上去，免得我在路上把你們滅盡了。』

所以你今日要知道是永恆主你的上帝，那在你前面過去如同火能燒滅人的、就是他；是他要消滅他們，是他要在你面前制伏他們；好使你把他們趕出，迅速地殺滅他們，照永恆主所告訴過你的。『永恆主你的上帝把這些國的人從你面前攆出以後、你心裏不可說：「永恆主將我領進來、取得這地、是因我的美德」；其實乃是因這些國的人的惡、永恆主才把他們從你面前趕出去呢。

說：『主啊，我若在你面前蒙恩，求主在我們中間同行，雖然這是脖子硬的人民；求你赦免我們的愆尤罪惡，拿我們當做你的產業。』

免致像他們祖宗、做頑梗悖逆的一代，做居心不堅定、心對上帝不忠實的一代。

這眾兒子硬着頭皮，心裏剛硬；我差遣你去找他們；你要對他們說：「主永恆主這麼說」。

並且呢，尼布甲尼撒王曾叫他指着上帝來起誓，他也背叛了那王；硬着脖子，心裏頑固，不歸向永恆主以色列的上帝。

你們列祖卻不肯留心聽從，反而扭轉肩頭，使耳朵沉重而不聽；使心剛硬如金鋼石、不聽從禮節規律和話語、就是萬軍之永恆主用自己的靈所傳達，由從前的神言人經手所發表的；故此有大震怒從萬軍之永恆主那裏發出。

現在你們不要硬着脖子、像你們列祖那樣；你們只要舉手起誓歸順永恆主，進入他的聖所、他永遠分別為聖的地方，來事奉永恆主你們的上帝，好使他的烈怒轉離你們。

主永恆主發神諭說：以色列家啊，我為我名的緣故不照你們的壞行徑、不照你們腐化的所為、來辦你們，你們就知道我乃是永恆主。』

律法溜了進來，使過犯增多；但罪在哪裏增多，恩典也就在哪裏格外地滿溢；以致罪在死中怎樣掌了王權，恩典也可以藉着救人之義怎樣掌王權，使人藉着我們的主耶穌基督得永生。
