  • Daniel 9:25 - So you are to know and understand that from the issuing of a decree to restore and rebuild Jerusalem, until Messiah the Prince, there will be seven weeks and sixty-two weeks; it will be built again, with streets and moat, even in times of distress.
  • Daniel 9:26 - Then after the sixty-two weeks, the Messiah will be cut off and have nothing, and the people of the prince who is to come will destroy the city and the sanctuary. And its end will come with a flood; even to the end there will be war; desolations are determined.
  • Luke 3:2 - in the high priesthood of Annas and Caiaphas, the word of God came to John, the son of Zechariah, in the wilderness.

  • Matthew 3:4 - Now John himself had a garment of camel’s hair and a leather belt around his waist; and his food was locusts and wild honey.

  • Matthew 3:6 - and they were being baptized by him in the Jordan River, as they confessed their sins.
  • Matthew 3:7 - But when he saw many of the Pharisees and Sadducees coming for baptism, he said to them, “You offspring of vipers, who warned you to flee from the wrath to come?
  • Matthew 3:8 - Therefore produce fruit consistent with repentance;
  • Matthew 3:9 - and do not assume that you can say to yourselves, ‘We have Abraham as our father’; for I tell you that God is able, from these stones, to raise up children for Abraham.
  • Matthew 3:10 - And the axe is already laid at the root of the trees; therefore, every tree that does not bear good fruit is being cut down and thrown into the fire.
  • Matthew 3:11 - “As for me, I baptize you with water for repentance, but He who is coming after me is mightier than I, and I am not fit to remove His sandals; He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and fire.
  • Matthew 3:12 - His winnowing fork is in His hand, and He will thoroughly clear His threshing floor; and He will gather His wheat into the barn, but He will burn up the chaff with unquenchable fire.”
  • Psalms 69:1 - Save me, God, For the waters have threatened my life.
  • Psalms 69:2 - I have sunk in deep mud, and there is no foothold; I have come into deep waters, and a flood overflows me.

  • Psalms 69:9 - For zeal for Your house has consumed me, And the taunts of those who taunt You have fallen on me.
  • Psalms 69:10 - When I wept in my soul with fasting, It became my disgrace.
  • Psalms 69:11 - When I made sackcloth my clothing, I became a proverb to them.
  • Psalms 69:12 - Those who sit in the gate talk about me, And songs of mockery by those habitually drunk are about me.
  • Psalms 69:13 - But as for me, my prayer is to You, Lord, at an acceptable time; God, in the greatness of Your mercy, Answer me with Your saving truth.
  • Psalms 69:14 - Rescue me from the mud and do not let me sink; May I be rescued from those who hate me, and from the depths of water.
  • Psalms 69:15 - May the flood of water not overflow me Nor the deep swallow me up, Nor the pit close its mouth on me.
  • Psalms 69:16 - Answer me, Lord, for Your mercy is good; According to the greatness of Your compassion, turn to me,
  • Psalms 69:17 - And do not hide Your face from Your servant, For I am in distress; answer me quickly.
  • Psalms 69:18 - Come near to my soul and redeem it; Ransom me because of my enemies!
  • Psalms 69:19 - You know my disgrace, my shame, and my dishonor; All my enemies are known to You.
  • Psalms 69:20 - Disgrace has broken my heart, and I am so sick. And I waited for sympathy, but there was none; And for comforters, but I found none.
  • Psalms 69:21 - They also gave me a bitter herb in my food, And for my thirst they gave me vinegar to drink.
  • Psalms 69:22 - May their table before them become a snare; And when they are at peace, may it become a trap.
  • Psalms 69:23 - May their eyes grow dim so that they cannot see, And make their hips shake continually.
  • Psalms 69:24 - Pour out Your indignation on them, And may Your burning anger overtake them.
  • Psalms 69:25 - May their camp be desolated; May there be none living in their tents.
  • Psalms 69:26 - For they have persecuted him whom You Yourself struck, And they tell of the pain of those whom You have wounded.
  • Psalms 69:27 - Add guilt to their guilt, And may they not come into Your righteousness.
  • Psalms 69:28 - May they be wiped out of the book of life, And may they not be recorded with the righteous.
  • Psalms 69:29 - But I am afflicted and in pain; May Your salvation, God, set me safely on high.
  • Psalms 69:30 - I will praise the name of God with song, And exalt Him with thanksgiving.
  • Psalms 69:31 - And it will please the Lord better than an ox Or bull with horns and hoofs.
  • Psalms 69:32 - The humble have seen it and are glad; You who seek God, let your heart revive.
  • Psalms 69:33 - For the Lord hears the needy, And does not despise those of His who are prisoners.
  • Psalms 69:34 - Heaven and earth shall praise Him, The seas and everything that moves in them.
  • Psalms 69:35 - For God will save Zion and build the cities of Judah, So that they may live there and possess it.
  • Psalms 69:36 - The descendants of His servants will inherit it, And those who love His name will live in it.
  • Isaiah 40:3 - The voice of one calling out, “Clear the way for the Lord in the wilderness; Make straight in the desert a highway for our God.

  • Psalms 22:25 - From You comes my praise in the great assembly; I shall pay my vows before those who fear Him.
  • Psalms 22:26 - The afflicted will eat and be satisfied; Those who seek Him will praise the Lord. May your heart live forever!
  • Psalms 22:27 - All the ends of the earth will remember and turn to the Lord, And all the families of the nations will worship before You.
  • Psalms 22:28 - For the kingdom is the Lord’s And He rules over the nations.
  • Psalms 22:29 - All the prosperous of the earth will eat and worship, All those who go down to the dust will kneel before Him, Even he who cannot keep his soul alive.
  • Psalms 22:30 - A posterity will serve Him; It will be told of the Lord to the coming generation.
  • Psalms 22:31 - They will come and will declare His righteousness To a people who will be born, that He has performed it.
  • Luke 1:16 - And he will turn many of the sons of Israel back to the Lord their God.
  • Luke 1:17 - And it is he who will go as a forerunner before Him in the spirit and power of Elijah, to turn the hearts of fathers back to their children, and the disobedient to the attitude of the righteous, to make ready a people prepared for the Lord.”

  • Isaiah 53:3 - He was despised and abandoned by men, A man of great pain and familiar with sickness; And like one from whom people hide their faces, He was despised, and we had no regard for Him.
  • Isaiah 53:4 - However, it was our sicknesses that He Himself bore, And our pains that He carried; Yet we ourselves assumed that He had been afflicted, Struck down by God, and humiliated.
  • Isaiah 53:5 - But He was pierced for our offenses, He was crushed for our wrongdoings; The punishment for our well-being was laid upon Him, And by His wounds we are healed.
  • Isaiah 53:6 - All of us, like sheep, have gone astray, Each of us has turned to his own way; But the Lord has caused the wrongdoing of us all To fall on Him.
  • Isaiah 53:7 - He was oppressed and afflicted, Yet He did not open His mouth; Like a lamb that is led to slaughter, And like a sheep that is silent before its shearers, So He did not open His mouth.
  • Isaiah 53:8 - By oppression and judgment He was taken away; And as for His generation, who considered That He was cut off from the land of the living For the wrongdoing of my people, to whom the blow was due?
  • Isaiah 53:9 - And His grave was assigned with wicked men, Yet He was with a rich man in His death, Because He had done no violence, Nor was there any deceit in His mouth.
  • Isaiah 53:10 - But the Lord desired To crush Him, causing Him grief; If He renders Himself as a guilt offering, He will see His offspring, He will prolong His days, And the good pleasure of the Lord will prosper in His hand.
  • Isaiah 53:11 - As a result of the anguish of His soul, He will see it and be satisfied; By His knowledge the Righteous One, My Servant, will justify the many, For He will bear their wrongdoings.
  • Isaiah 53:12 - Therefore, I will allot Him a portion with the great, And He will divide the plunder with the strong, Because He poured out His life unto death, And was counted with wrongdoers; Yet He Himself bore the sin of many, And interceded for the wrongdoers.
