斯土將成為平原、自迦巴至耶路撒冷南之臨門、耶路撒冷必將卓越、而居其所、自便雅憫門、至首門之處、延及隅門、復自哈楠業樓、至王之酒醡、

耶路撒冷南有臨門、自臨門至基巴有平原、厥後遍境必若是、耶路撒冷必將崛興、有人居處、自便雅憫門、至首建之門、延及邑隅之門、自哈拿業戍樓、至王之酒醡、

全地必變為平原、變為平原或作變若亞拉巴自迦巴延及臨門、在耶路撒冷之南、耶路撒冷城必將高起、高起或作崛興其中人民、仍居原處、自便雅憫門至於古門之處、古門之處或作先前有門之處延及邑隅之門、自哈楠業戍樓至王之壓酒處、

The whole land, from Geba to Rimmon, south of Jerusalem, will become like the Arabah. But Jerusalem will be raised up high from the Benjamin Gate to the site of the First Gate, to the Corner Gate, and from the Tower of Hananel to the royal winepresses, and will remain in its place.

The whole land south of Jerusalem will be changed. From Geba to Rimmon it will become like the Arabah Valley. But Jerusalem will be raised up high. It will be raised from the Benjamin Gate to the First Gate to the Corner Gate. It will be raised from the Tower of Hananel to the royal winepresses. And it will remain in its place.

The whole land shall be turned into a plain from Geba to Rimmon south of Jerusalem. But Jerusalem shall remain aloft on its site from the Gate of Benjamin to the place of the former gate, to the Corner Gate, and from the Tower of Hananel to the king’s winepresses.

All the land from Geba, north of Judah, to Rimmon, south of Jerusalem, will become one vast plain. But Jerusalem will be raised up in its original place and will be inhabited all the way from the Benjamin Gate over to the site of the old gate, then to the Corner Gate, and from the Tower of Hananel to the king’s winepresses.

「到那天，我必使猶大的族長像木柴中的火盆，像禾捆中的火把，吞噬左右四圍的列邦，但耶路撒冷人必仍在原處——耶路撒冷安居。

利巴勿、實忻、亞因和臨門，共二十九座城及其附近的鄉村。

耶和華說：「看啊，我要使雅各的子孫復興，我要憐憫他們，使他們在廢墟上重建家園，重修宮殿。

亞撒王令全國的猶大人出動，將巴沙修築拉瑪城的石頭和木材搬走，用來修建便雅憫的迦巴和米斯巴。

當耶利米先知來到便雅憫門時，哈拿尼亞的孫子、示利米雅的兒子守門官伊利雅逮捕了他，說：「你想去投奔迦勒底人！」

對他說：「快跑去告訴那青年，『耶路撒冷必像沒有城牆限制的村莊，因為城中將有大量的人和牲畜。

於是，大祭司以利亞實及其他祭司一起重建羊門，將它獻給上帝，又安上門。他們重建城牆，一直建到哈米亞樓和哈楠業樓，並將它獻給上帝。

那時，王正坐在便雅憫門口。宮廷侍臣古實人以伯·米勒聽說他們把耶利米囚在蓄水池裡，

只有六百人逃到了臨門岩，在那裡住了四個月。

餘下的人都逃往曠野的臨門岩，沿途有五千人被殺。以色列人追殺他們，一直追到基頓，又消滅了他們兩千人。

然後又經過以法蓮門、古門、魚門、哈楠業樓、哈米亞樓，遠至羊門，之後停在護衛門。

以色列王約阿施在伯·示麥擒獲約哈斯的孫子、約阿施的兒子、猶大王亞瑪謝，把他帶到耶路撒冷，又拆毀從以法蓮門到角門約一百八十米長的耶路撒冷城牆，

他們還有五座城邑：以坦、亞因、臨門、陀健、亞珊，

耶和華說：「看啊，時候將到，從哈楠業樓直到角門，整個耶路撒冷城要重建起來歸給耶和華。城界要向外延伸到迦立山，再轉到歌亞。甚至拋屍、倒灰的整個山谷，以及從汲淪溪到東邊馬門拐角的所有田地都要歸給耶和華作聖地，永不再被傾覆、毀滅。」

這正應驗了以賽亞先知書上的話：「在曠野有人大聲呼喊，『預備主的道，修直祂的路。一切山谷將被填滿，大山小丘將被削平，彎曲的道路要被修直，崎嶇的路徑要被鋪平。世人都要看見上帝的救恩。』」

「到那日，我要重建已傾覆的大衛王朝，修補它城牆的缺口。我要從廢墟中重建它，恢復它往日的榮耀。

從便雅憫支派的產業中分給他們的城有：基遍、迦巴、

他們過了關口，在迦巴宿營。拉瑪人戰戰兢兢，掃羅的鄉親基比亞人倉皇逃跑。

他對我說：「這是耶和華對所羅巴伯講的話。萬軍之耶和華說，『不靠權勢，不靠才能，乃靠我的靈。大山啊，你算什麼？你必在所羅巴伯面前化為平地。他必搬出那塊封殿頂的石頭，伴隨著歡呼聲——願恩典、恩典歸於這殿！』」

聽啊，有人高喊：「在曠野預備耶和華的道，在沙漠修直我們上帝的路。一切山谷將被填滿，大山小丘將被削平；坎坷之地將變得平坦，崎嶇的地面將成為平原。

米拉利族的人從西布倫支派得到了臨摩挪和他泊城及其周圍的草場；

在末後的日子，耶和華殿所在的山必聳立，高過群山，超過萬嶺，萬族都要湧向它。

全體會眾又派人到臨門岩去跟便雅憫人講和。
