Mine anger was kindled against the shepherds, and I punished the goats: for the LORD of hosts hath visited his flock the house of Judah, and hath made them as his goodly horse in the battle.

耶和華宣告：「我的怒氣向牧人們發作，我必懲罰那些公山羊，因為萬軍之耶和華眷顧他的羊群——猶大家，必使他們像戰場上他的威武的馬。

我怒熾於牧者、必懲罰牡山羊、蓋萬軍之耶和華垂顧其羣、即猶大家、必使若臨陳之駿馬、

我怒牧者、罰其牡山羊、我萬有之主耶和華、垂顧群畜、即猶大家、使若驊騮、預備以戰、

“ My anger burns against the shepherds, and I will punish the leaders; for the Lord Almighty will care for his flock, the people of Judah, and make them like a proud horse in battle.

The Lord who rules over all says,“ I am very angry with the shepherds. I will punish the leaders. The Lord will take care of his flock. They are the people of Judah. He will make them like a proud horse in battle.

“ My anger is hot against the shepherds, and I will punish the leaders; for the Lord of hosts cares for his flock, the house of Judah, and will make them like his majestic steed in battle.

“ My anger burns against your shepherds, and I will punish these leaders. For the Lord of Heaven’s Armies has arrived to look after Judah, his flock. He will make them strong and glorious, like a proud warhorse in battle.

My anger burns against the shepherds, so I will punish the leaders. For the LORD of Armies has tended his flock, the house of Judah; he will make them like his majestic steed in battle.

“ My anger is kindled against the shepherds, And I will punish the male goats; For the Lord of armies has visited His flock, the house of Judah, And will make them like His majestic horse in battle.

“ My anger is kindled against the shepherds, And I will punish the goatherds. For the Lord of hosts will visit His flock, The house of Judah, And will make them as His royal horse in the battle.

Mine anger is kindled against the shepherds, and I will punish the he- goats; for Jehovah of hosts hath visited his flock, the house of Judah, and will make them as his goodly horse in the battle.

My anger burns against the shepherds, so I will punish the leaders. For the Lord of Hosts has tended His flock, the house of Judah; He will make them like His majestic steed in battle.

I am enraged at the shepherds and will punish the lead-goats. For the LORD who rules over all has brought blessing to his flock, the house of Judah, and will transform them into his majestic warhorse.

My anger is kindled against the shepherds, and I will punish the male goats; For Yahweh of Armies has visited his flock, the house of Judah, and will make them as his majestic horse in the battle.

Woe be unto the pastors that destroy and scatter the sheep of my pasture! saith the LORD.Therefore thus saith the LORD God of Israel against the pastors that feed my people; Ye have scattered my flock, and driven them away, and have not visited them: behold, I will visit upon you the evil of your doings, saith the LORD.

The horse[ is] prepared against the day of battle: but safety[ is] of the LORD.

Therefore, ye shepherds, hear the word of the LORD;[ As] I live, saith the Lord GOD, surely because my flock became a prey, and my flock became meat to every beast of the field, because[ there was] no shepherd, neither did my shepherds search for my flock, but the shepherds fed themselves, and fed not my flock;Therefore, O ye shepherds, hear the word of the LORD;Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I[ am] against the shepherds; and I will require my flock at their hand, and cause them to cease from feeding the flock; neither shall the shepherds feed themselves any more; for I will deliver my flock from their mouth, that they may not be meat for them.

I will seek that which was lost, and bring again that which was driven away, and will bind up[ that which was] broken, and will strengthen that which was sick: but I will destroy the fat and the strong; I will feed them with judgment.And[ as for] you, O my flock, thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I judge between cattle and cattle, between the rams and the he goats.

Woe to the idol shepherd that leaveth the flock! the sword[ shall be] upon his arm, and upon his right eye: his arm shall be clean dried up, and his right eye shall be utterly darkened.

And the coast shall be for the remnant of the house of Judah; they shall feed thereupon: in the houses of Ashkelon shall they lie down in the evening: for the LORD their God shall visit them, and turn away their captivity.

Son of man, prophesy against the shepherds of Israel, prophesy, and say unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD unto the shepherds; Woe[ be] to the shepherds of Israel that do feed themselves! should not the shepherds feed the flocks?

Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD unto them; Behold, I,[ even] I, will judge between the fat cattle and between the lean cattle.Because ye have thrust with side and with shoulder, and pushed all the diseased with your horns, till ye have scattered them abroad;

For the pastors are become brutish, and have not sought the LORD: therefore they shall not prosper, and all their flocks shall be scattered.

Then she arose with her daughters in law, that she might return from the country of Moab: for she had heard in the country of Moab how that the LORD had visited his people in giving them bread.

I have compared thee, O my love, to a company of horses in Pharaoh’s chariots.

Having your conversation honest among the Gentiles: that, whereas they speak against you as evildoers, they may by[ your] good works, which they shall behold, glorify God in the day of visitation.

All ye beasts of the field, come to devour,[ yea], all ye beasts in the forest.His watchmen[ are] blind: they are all ignorant, they[ are] all dumb dogs, they cannot bark; sleeping, lying down, loving to slumber.Yea,[ they are] greedy dogs[ which] can never have enough, and they[ are] shepherds[ that] cannot understand: they all look to their own way, every one for his gain, from his quarter.Come ye,[ say they], I will fetch wine, and we will fill ourselves with strong drink; and tomorrow shall be as this day,[ and] much more abundant.

Whose possessors slay them, and hold themselves not guilty: and they that sell them say, Blessed[ be] the LORD; for I am rich: and their own shepherds pity them not.For I will no more pity the inhabitants of the land, saith the LORD: but, lo, I will deliver the men every one into his neighbour’s hand, and into the hand of his king: and they shall smite the land, and out of their hand I will not deliver[ them].And I will feed the flock of slaughter,[ even] you, O poor of the flock. And I took unto me two staves; the one I called Beauty, and the other I called Bands; and I fed the flock.Three shepherds also I cut off in one month; and my soul lothed them, and their soul also abhorred me.

And it shall come to pass, when seventy years are accomplished,[ that] I will punish the king of Babylon, and that nation, saith the LORD, for their iniquity, and the land of the Chaldeans, and will make it perpetual desolations.

Wherefore it shall come to pass,[ that] when the Lord hath performed his whole work upon mount Zion and on Jerusalem, I will punish the fruit of the stout heart of the king of Assyria, and the glory of his high looks.

And it shall come to pass in the day of the LORD’S sacrifice, that I will punish the princes, and the king’s children, and all such as are clothed with strange apparel.

Howl, ye shepherds, and cry; and wallow yourselves[ in the ashes], ye principal of the flock: for the days of your slaughter and of your dispersions are accomplished; and ye shall fall like a pleasant vessel.

Blessed[ be] the Lord God of Israel; for he hath visited and redeemed his people,

And before him shall be gathered all nations: and he shall separate them one from another, as a shepherd divideth[ his] sheep from the goats:And he shall set the sheep on his right hand, but the goats on the left.

Therefore thus saith the LORD of hosts, Behold, I will punish them: the young men shall die by the sword; their sons and their daughters shall die by famine:

My people hath been lost sheep: their shepherds have caused them to go astray, they have turned them away[ on] the mountains: they have gone from mountain to hill, they have forgotten their restingplace.

And it shall come to pass in that day,[ that] the LORD shall punish the host of the high ones[ that are] on high, and the kings of the earth upon the earth.

And the people believed: and when they heard that the LORD had visited the children of Israel, and that he had looked upon their affliction, then they bowed their heads and worshipped.
