For the Lord has called you back from your grief— as though you were a young wife abandoned by her husband,” says your God.“ For a brief moment I abandoned you, but with great compassion I will take you back.In a burst of anger I turned my face away for a little while. But with everlasting love I will have compassion on you,” says the Lord, your Redeemer.

Yet God has made everything beautiful for its own time. He has planted eternity in the human heart, but even so, people cannot see the whole scope of God’s work from beginning to end.

God blesses those who mourn, for they will be comforted.

“ Arise, Jerusalem! Let your light shine for all to see. For the glory of the Lord rises to shine on you.Darkness as black as night covers all the nations of the earth, but the glory of the Lord rises and appears over you.

For once you were full of darkness, but now you have light from the Lord. So live as people of light!

A time to cry and a time to laugh. A time to grieve and a time to dance.

“ Speak tenderly to Jerusalem. Tell her that her sad days are gone and her sins are pardoned. Yes, the Lord has punished her twice over for all her sins.”

In that day you will sing:“ I will praise you, O Lord! You were angry with me, but not anymore. Now you comfort me.See, God has come to save me. I will trust in him and not be afraid. The Lord God is my strength and my song; he has given me victory.”

The second terror is past, but look, the third terror is coming quickly.Then the seventh angel blew his trumpet, and there were loud voices shouting in heaven:“ The world has now become the Kingdom of our Lord and of his Christ, and he will reign forever and ever.”
