我心所爱的啊，请告诉我，你在何处牧羊？正午在何处使羊歇卧？我何必像蒙着脸的女子在你同伴的羊群旁边呢？

我心爱的人啊，告诉我吧，你在哪里牧羊？中午带羊去哪里歇息？我何必在你同伴的羊群旁流浪，像风尘女子一样呢？

我心所爱的啊！求你告诉我，你在哪里放羊？中午你在哪里使羊群躺卧休息。我为什么在你众同伴的羊群旁边，好像蒙着脸的女人呢？

我心所愛的啊，求你告訴我，你在何處牧羊？晌午在何處使羊歇臥？我何必在你同伴的羊羣旁邊好像蒙着臉的人呢？

我心愛的人啊，告訴我吧，你在哪裡牧羊？中午帶羊去哪裡歇息？我何必在你同伴的羊群旁流浪，像風塵女子一樣呢？

我心所愛的啊！求你告訴我，你在哪裡放羊？中午你在哪裡使羊群躺臥休息。我為甚麼在你眾同伴的羊群旁邊，好像蒙著臉的女人呢？

我心愛的啊，求你告訴我你在哪裏放羊，你中午在哪裏讓羊躺着休息；我何必在你同伴的羊羣旁像流浪徘徊的女郎呢？

我心所愛者、爾牧羊於何所、亭午息之於何方、請以告我、我於爾同儔羣羊之側、何為如蒙面者乎、

維我良人、予所敬愛、予不欲與爾同儔為伍、以遨以遊、惟欲詣爾牧地、爾牧羊何所、至於日中、羊伏蔭下、又在何方、請以告我。

我心所愛者、請爾告我、爾於何所牧羊、亭午在何方使羊憩息、免我在爾同伴之群中、往來游行、

Tell me, you whom I love, where you graze your flock and where you rest your sheep at midday. Why should I be like a veiled woman beside the flocks of your friends?

“ King Solomon, I love you. So tell me where you take care of your flock. Tell me where you rest your sheep at noon. Why should I have to act like a prostitute near the flocks of your friends?”

Tell me, you whom my soul loves, where you pasture your flock, where you make it lie down at noon; for why should I be like one who veils herself beside the flocks of your companions?

Tell me, my love, where are you leading your flock today? Where will you rest your sheep at noon? For why should I wander like a prostitute among your friends and their flocks?

Tell me, you whom I love: Where do you pasture your sheep? Where do you let them rest at noon? Why should I be like one who veils herself beside the flocks of your companions?

Tell me, you whom my soul loves, Where do you pasture your flock, Where do you have it lie down at noon? For why should I be like one who veils herself Beside the flocks of your companions?”

Tell me, O thou whom my soul loveth, Where thou feedest thy flock, Where thou makest it to rest at noon: For why should I be as one that is veiled Beside the flocks of thy companions?

Tell me, you, the one I love: Where do you pasture your sheep? Where do you let them rest at noon? Why should I be like one who veils herself beside the flocks of your companions?

Tell me, O thou whom my soul loveth, where thou feedest, where thou makest[ thy flock] to rest at noon: for why should I be as one that turneth aside by the flocks of thy companions?

Tell me, O you whom my heart loves, where do you pasture your sheep? Where do you rest your sheep during the midday heat? Tell me lest I wander around beside the flocks of your companions!

Tell me, you whom my soul loves, where you graze your flock, where you rest them at noon; for why should I be as one who is veiled beside the flocks of your companions?

THE SHULAMITE: By night on my bed I sought the one I love; I sought him, but I did not find him.“ I will rise now,” I said,“ And go about the city; In the streets and in the squares I will seek the one I love.” I sought him, but I did not find him.The watchmen who go about the city found me; I said,“ Have you seen the one I love?”Scarcely had I passed by them, When I found the one I love. I held him and would not let him go, Until I had brought him to the house of my mother, And into the chamber of her who conceived me.

The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.He makes me to lie down in green pastures; He leads me beside the still waters.

To You I will cry, O Lord my Rock: Do not be silent to me, Lest, if You are silent to me, I become like those who go down to the pit.

It will never be inhabited, Nor will it be settled from generation to generation; Nor will the Arabian pitch tents there, Nor will the shepherds make their sheepfolds there.

Now let me sing to my Well-beloved A song of my Beloved regarding His vineyard: My Well-beloved has a vineyard On a very fruitful hill.

And He shall stand and feed His flock In the strength of the Lord, In the majesty of the name of the Lord His God; And they shall abide, For now He shall be great To the ends of the earth;

whom having not seen you love. Though now you do not see Him, yet believing, you rejoice with joy inexpressible and full of glory,

With my soul I have desired You in the night, Yes, by my spirit within me I will seek You early; For when Your judgments are in the earth, The inhabitants of the world will learn righteousness.

Therefore, to you who believe, He is precious; but to those who are disobedient,“ The stone which the builders rejected Has become the chief cornerstone,”

THE SHULAMITE: My beloved is mine, and I am his. He feeds his flock among the lilies.

And I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; neither shall anyone snatch them out of My hand.My Father, who has given them to Me, is greater than all; and no one is able to snatch them out of My Father’s hand.

Then Jesus said to the twelve,“ Do you also want to go away?”But Simon Peter answered Him,“ Lord, to whom shall we go? You have the words of eternal life.Also we have come to believe and know that You are the Christ, the Son of the living God.”

“ I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd gives His life for the sheep.

THE SHULAMITE: My beloved is white and ruddy, Chief among ten thousand.

He will feed His flock like a shepherd; He will gather the lambs with His arm, And carry them in His bosom, And gently lead those who are with young.

I love the Lord, because He has heard My voice and my supplications.

Then Samuel said to the people,“ Do not fear. You have done all this wickedness; yet do not turn aside from following the Lord, but serve the Lord with all your heart.And do not turn aside; for then you would go after empty things which cannot profit or deliver, for they are nothing.

So he said,“ I am seeking my brothers. Please tell me where they are feeding their flocks.”

I am my beloved’s, And my beloved is mine. He feeds his flock among the lilies.

His mouth is most sweet, Yes, he is altogether lovely. This is my beloved, And this is my friend, O daughters of Jerusalem!

“ Thus says the Lord of hosts:‘ In this place which is desolate, without man and without beast, and in all its cities, there shall again be a dwelling place of shepherds causing their flocks to lie down.

But above all these things put on love, which is the bond of perfection.And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to which also you were called in one body; and be thankful.Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom, teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.And whatever you do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him.Wives, submit to your own husbands, as is fitting in the Lord.

THE BELOVED: You who dwell in the gardens, The companions listen for your voice— Let me hear it!

He who loves father or mother more than Me is not worthy of Me. And he who loves son or daughter more than Me is not worthy of Me.

Give ear, O Shepherd of Israel, You who lead Joseph like a flock; You who dwell between the cherubim, shine forth!

He said to him the third time,“ Simon, son of Jonah, do you love Me?” Peter was grieved because He said to him the third time,“ Do you love Me?” And he said to Him,“ Lord, You know all things; You know that I love You.” Jesus said to him,“ Feed My sheep.

They went out from us, but they were not of us; for if they had been of us, they would have continued with us; but they went out that they might be made manifest, that none of them were of us.

I will love You, O Lord, my strength.

for the Lamb who is in the midst of the throne will shepherd them and lead them to living fountains of waters. And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes.”

THE SHULAMITE: Like an apple tree among the trees of the woods, So is my beloved among the sons. I sat down in his shade with great delight, And his fruit was sweet to my taste.

I charge you, O daughters of Jerusalem, If you find my beloved, That you tell him I am lovesick!
