對曰、我主乎、爾自知之、曰、此乃出乎大難而來、曾以羔之血滌其衣而白之矣、

對曰、吾子自知之、曰、彼脫大難、賴羔流血、曾滌厥衣、至於潔白、

予應之曰：「公自知之。」渠乃語予曰：若輩來自憂患中、備嘗艱辛、曾藉羔羊之血、自濯其袍、所服皜皜乎不可尚已；

I answered,“ Sir, you know.” And he said,“ These are they who have come out of the great tribulation; they have washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.

I answered,“ Sir, you know.” He said,“ They are the ones who have come out of the time of terrible suffering. They have washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.

I said to him,“ Sir, you know.” And he said to me,“ These are the ones coming out of the great tribulation. They have washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.

And I said to him,“ Sir, you are the one who knows.” Then he said to me,“ These are the ones who died in the great tribulation. They have washed their robes in the blood of the Lamb and made them white.

I said to him,“ Sir, you know.” Then he told me: These are the ones coming out of the great tribulation. They washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.

I said to him,“ My lord, you know.” And he said to me,“ These are the ones who come out of the great tribulation, and they have washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.

And I said to him,“ Sir, you know.” So he said to me,“ These are the ones who come out of the great tribulation, and washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.

I told him,“ My lord, you know.” He said to me,“ These are those who came out of the great suffering. They washed their robes, and made them white in the Lamb’s blood.

守其誡者、有原文抄本作凡洗滌己衣者乃為有福、彼等必得享生命樹之果、亦得由門中入邑、

是以耶穌欲以己血使民成聖、亦受苦於邑門外、

諸兄弟不貪生而冒死、賴羔之血、及所證之道而勝之、

何況基督感於永在之神、以己無瑕之身、獻於天主、其血豈更不淨爾心去妄行、使爾奉事永生之天主乎、

及誠信之證者、自死中首先復活者、為天下萬王之元首者耶穌基督、得恩寵平康、

約書亞衣污衣、立於天使前、彼謂立於其前者或作主告左右曰、當解其污衣、又謂約書亞曰、我除爾愆尤、衣爾美衣、我或作又曰、當以華冠冠其首、遂以華冠冠其首、又衣之以美衣、主之使者立於側、

主曰、爾曹皆來、我與爾明辨、爾罪雖如硃色、必將白如雪、雖紅如絳、必將白如羊毛、或作爾曹皆來我與爾明辨爾罪雖顯如硃紅我必使之白如雪雖紅如丹顏我必使之白如羊毛

以水之洗與道而潔之、使之成聖、俾立於己前為榮耀之教會、無瑕垢縐容等類之疵、乃聖潔純全無玷、

皆謳新歌曰、爾堪取卷而解其印、因爾見殺、以爾之血、贖我儕於各族、各姓、各民、各邦以歸於上帝、

乃以基督之寶血、如無疵無玷羔羊之血、

爾中有人、素亦如是、今賴主耶穌基督之名、及我天主之神、得洗滌成聖稱義、○

蓋其時必有大難、自創世以至於今、未有如此者、後亦必無有焉、

當是日必有泉源、為大衛家及耶路撒冷居民而開、或作當是日必為大衛家與耶路撒冷居民湧出一泉得以滌罪去污、

彼得曰、爾永不可濯我足、耶穌曰、我若不濯爾、則爾與我無與、西門彼得對曰、主、不止我足、並手與首亦可濯、耶穌曰、凡沐浴者、祗須濯足、而全身潔矣、爾曹亦潔、然非皆潔、蓋耶穌知將賣之者為誰、故曰、爾曹非皆潔、○既濯門徒足、衣衣復坐、謂門徒曰、我今為爾所行者、爾知之否、爾稱我為師為主、爾之言然、我誠是也、我為主為師、猶濯爾足、爾曹亦當互相濯足、

不第此也、亦以患難為樂、以患難為樂或作因患難而誇因知患難生忍耐、

我以此告爾、為使爾因我而安、在世爾必遇患難、然爾毋懼、我已勝世矣、

堅門徒心、勸其恆信、又言我儕欲入天主國、必歷多難、

我知爾之作為、爾之患難、爾之窮乏、而實富有、自稱為猶太人、實非猶太人、乃屬撒但會者、其謗言我亦知之、

我見彷彿有玻璃海、中雜以火、凡勝獸並其像、其印誌、與其名數者、皆立於玻璃海上、手執天主之琴、

我見婦飲聖徒之血、及為耶穌作證者之血、飲而醉矣、我見之不勝驚駭、

爾受諸窘逐患難、而於其中仍存忍與信、故我儕在天主諸教會中為爾而誇、

既啟第五印、我見祭臺下、有為天主之道、及為所證之證被殺者之魂、大聲呼曰、聖且誠之主歟、不審判居於地之人、為我儕伸流血之冤、將至何時、於是有以白衣賜各人、語之曰、當少安、待同事兄弟亦見殺、其數乃盈、○
