謂山與巖曰、傾而匿我、以避居於座者之面及羔之怒、

籲呼山巖壓己、不令坐位之主見之、及為羔所怒、

籲呼山巖曰、墜於我身掩蓋我、可避坐寶座者之面、及羔之怒、

而乞靈於山石曰：「其速覆吾身、掩吾人於居寶座者之顏、與羔羊之怒；

亞文的邱壇——以色列犯罪之地要被拆毀。他們的祭壇上要長滿荊棘和蒺藜。他們要向高山說：「遮蓋我們吧！」對小丘說：「倒在我們身上吧！」

我便立刻被聖靈感動，看見天上安設著一個寶座，有一位坐在寶座上，

我又看見一個白色的大寶座和坐在上面的那位。在祂面前，天地都逃避了，消失得無影無蹤。

當主耶穌和祂大能的天使在烈焰中從天上顯現時，祂必使你們這些受苦的人和我們同得安慰，懲罰那些不認識上帝、不聽從有關我們主耶穌之福音的人。那些人要受的刑罰就是離開主的面和祂榮耀的權能，永遠滅亡。

你要用鐵杖統治他們，把他們像陶器一般打碎。』」君王啊，要慎思明辨！世上的統治者啊，要接受勸誡！要以敬畏的心事奉耶和華，要喜樂也要戰戰兢兢。要降服在祂兒子面前，免得祂發怒，你們便在罪惡中滅亡，因為祂的怒氣將臨。投靠祂的人有福了！

耶穌說：「如你所言。但我告訴你們，將來你們要看見人子坐在大能者的右邊，駕著天上的雲降臨。」

主在你身旁保護你，祂發怒的時候，必毀滅列王。祂要審判列國，使列國屍橫遍野。祂要毀滅世上的首領。

我要把這邪惡民族的餘民流放異地，他們在那裡必痛不欲生。這是萬軍之耶和華說的。」

從寶座中有閃電、響聲、雷鳴發出，寶座前面燃燒著七把火炬，代表上帝的七靈。

憑著活到永永遠遠、創造天地海洋和其中一切的上帝起誓說：「必不再耽延了。

每逢這些活物將榮耀、尊貴、感謝獻給坐在寶座上、活到永永遠遠的那位時，

耶和華啊，你的手必尋索你的敵人，你用右手搜出所有恨你的人。你一出現，他們便像身在火爐中，你在烈怒中吞滅他們，你的烈火燒滅他們。你必從世上剷除他們的子孫，從人間滅絕他們的後裔。他們雖然用陰謀詭計對抗你，卻不能成功。你必彎弓搭箭瞄準他們，使他們掉頭逃跑。

他們大聲喊著說：「聖潔真實的主宰啊，還要等多久呢？為什麼你還不審判地上那些屠殺我們的人，為我們伸冤呢？」

但他們終必充滿恐懼，因為上帝站在義人當中。

那位天使對我說：「你要宣告，萬軍之耶和華說，『我對耶路撒冷，對錫安充滿了火熱的愛。我對安逸的列國充滿憤怒，因為我只是對我的子民稍微不滿，列國卻大肆禍害他們。』

祂口中吐出一把利劍，可以攻擊列國。祂必用鐵杖統治他們，踩踏盛滿全能上帝之烈怒的榨酒池。
