耶和華使大地震動的時候，眾人躲進岩穴，藏入地洞，逃避祂的憤怒和威榮。

要躲進岩穴，藏入地洞，逃避耶和華的憤怒和威榮！

到那日，耶和華必在天上懲罰天上的眾權能者，在地上懲罰地上的君王。他們必像囚犯一樣被聚在一起，關在牢裡，日後必受懲罰。

耶和華使大地震動的時候，眾人必躲進山洞和岩縫，逃避祂的憤怒和威榮。

君王啊，要慎思明辨！世上的統治者啊，要接受勸誡！要以敬畏的心事奉耶和華，要喜樂也要戰戰兢兢。要降服在祂兒子面前，免得祂發怒，你們便在罪惡中滅亡，因為祂的怒氣將臨。投靠祂的人有福了！

祂挫敗首領的傲氣，世上的君王都敬畏祂。

以色列人看見敵軍壓境，情勢危急，紛紛躲進山洞、叢林、石穴、地洞和坑裡。

那五王逃進瑪基大的山洞裡，躲藏起來。有人告訴約書亞那五個王藏在瑪基大的山洞裡，

祂穿著被鮮血浸透的衣服，祂的名字是「上帝的道」。眾天軍穿著潔白的細麻衣，騎著白馬跟隨祂。祂口中吐出一把利劍，可以攻擊列國。祂必用鐵杖統治他們，踩踏盛滿全能上帝之烈怒的榨酒池。祂的衣服和大腿上都寫著祂的名號：「萬王之王，萬主之主。」我又看見一位天使站在太陽裡，對空中飛翔的鳥大聲呼喚：「來吧！一起來參加上帝的盛宴，一同享用君王、將軍、勇士、馬匹、騎士、自由人、奴隸和尊卑老少的肉吧！」我看見那怪獸、地上的眾王及其軍隊聚集起來，要與白馬騎士和祂的軍隊作戰。後來，怪獸被俘虜了，在怪獸面前行奇蹟的假先知也一同被擒了。這假先知曾用奇蹟欺騙那些蓋了獸印、敬拜獸像的人。他和怪獸一同被活活地扔進硫磺火湖裡。怪獸的殘兵紛紛被白馬騎士口中的利劍所殺，飛鳥飽餐了他們的肉。

在曠野、群山、山洞和地穴中漂流不定。他們是世界不配有的！

主在你身旁保護你，祂發怒的時候，必毀滅列王。祂要審判列國，使列國屍橫遍野。祂要毀滅世上的首領。

萬民啊，你們要聽！世人啊，不論貴賤貧富，都要留心聽！

米甸人勢力強盛，以色列人只好躲進山裡，藏在洞穴和營寨中。

「那些曾與她通姦享樂的君王目睹焚燒她的煙，必為她哭泣哀號。他們對她所受的災禍充滿恐懼，就遠遠地站著說，『強大堅固的巴比倫城啊，真悲慘！真悲慘！因為審判頃刻間臨到你了。』「地上的商人也為她哀傷，因為再也沒有人購買他們的貨物了。

但這些百姓飽受劫掠，都被困在坑中，囚在監內。他們淪為俘虜，無人搭救；被當作戰利品擄走，無人追回。

祂不偏袒王侯，也不輕貧重富，因為他們都是祂親手造的。他們夜間轉瞬死去，百姓震顫，繼而消逝，權貴也被剷除，非藉人手。

他們要像蛇一樣舔土，又如地上的爬蟲，戰戰兢兢地走出營寨；他們必畏懼我們的上帝耶和華，他們必對你充滿恐懼。
