接著我看見一個新天新地，因為以前的天地都消逝了，海洋也不復存在了。

爾時吾見新天新地；蓋舊天舊地已逝、海亦杳然。

Then I saw“ a new heaven and a new earth,” for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away, and there was no longer any sea.

I saw“ a new heaven and a new earth.”( Isaiah 65:17) The first heaven and the first earth were completely gone. There was no longer any sea.

Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away, and the sea was no more.

「看啊，我要創造新天新地，過去的一切都要被遺忘，從記憶中消失。你們要因我創造的一切而永遠歡喜快樂。看啊，我要創造一個充滿喜樂的耶路撒冷，其中的居民個個歡欣。我必因耶路撒冷而歡喜，因我的子民而快樂。城裡再聽不見哭泣和哀號聲。

但我們等候的是上帝應許的新天新地，有公義住在其中。

耶和華說：「正如我造的新天新地在我面前長存，你們的名字和後裔也必長存。

不過，主再來的日子要像賊一樣突然臨到。那日，諸天必在一聲巨響中消失，有形有質的都要被烈火焚毀，大地和其中的一切將不復存在。

我又看見一個白色的大寶座和坐在上面的那位。在祂面前，天地都逃避了，消失得無影無蹤。

坐在寶座上的那位對我說：「看啊！我已經將一切都更新了。你要將這一切記錄下來，因為這些話真實可信。」

到那日，耶和華必用祂無堅不摧的利劍懲罰巨龍——那飛快、曲行的蛇。祂必殺死那海中的怪物。

接著，四隻巨獸從海中上來，各有不同的形狀。

然而，惡人就像波濤洶湧、難以平靜的大海，海浪中湧出淤泥和汙物。」

我又看見一隻怪獸從海中上來，有七頭十角，每隻角上都戴著一個冠冕，每個頭上都寫著褻瀆上帝的名號。
