彼猶處子、不浼於色、羔之所往、則皆從之、此乃於眾中蒙贖、為初實之果、獻於上帝及羔者、

彼夫持身以正、不迷於色、從羔而行、不論所往、亦於儔類中得贖、首宗上帝與羔者、

彼未污己以色、蓋持守貞潔、羔無論何往、彼皆從之、彼乃被贖於人中、為初實之果、在天主及羔前、為初實之果在天主及羔前或作首先信天主與羔者

These are those who did not defile themselves with women, for they remained virgins. They follow the Lamb wherever he goes. They were purchased from among mankind and offered as firstfruits to God and the Lamb.

They had not committed sexual sins with women. They had kept themselves pure. They follow the Lamb wherever he goes. They were purchased from among human beings as a first offering to God and the Lamb.

It is these who have not defiled themselves with women, for they are virgins. It is these who follow the Lamb wherever he goes. These have been redeemed from mankind as firstfruits for God and the Lamb,

惟父憑其自由聖意、以真實無妄之道、予吾人以再造、俾充先薦之果、而與萬物更始；

蓋我為天主之故、熱中於爾、甚至有患得患失之情緒。吾既將爾許配良人、固願爾好自保持貞節、克配基督。

雖然、在爾撒爾底亦頗有若干人涅而不緇、迄今未汙其服；若輩當得身被道袍、而從我遊矣。

諸老合奏新歌一曲、其詞曰：誰堪受其書而啟其緘兮、惟爾具斯大德、爾曾自獻為犧牲兮、流爾寶血；贖元元於各種各族兮、萬邦重譯；俾翕然歸返乎天主兮、以成神國；

吾羊樂聞吾音、予識之、而彼亦惟予是從；

人欲事我、宜亦步亦趨、追踵於我、庶幾我之所詣、吾僕亦克詣焉。人能事我、父必榮之。

故得奉事天主於寶座之前、朝朝暮暮、不離聖殿；位於寶座者且將庇之於閟帷之下焉。若輩不復饑渴、日不得而曝之、火不得而爇之；蓋座前羔羊將親為之牧、導之引之、以至活水之源；而天主且將親拭其目中之淚也。

俾合力與羔羊交戰、而羔羊終必克之。羔羊乃萬主之主、萬王之王。凡蒙召承選、忠心耿耿、而與羔羊並肩作戰者、靡有不勝。

莫忘斯群眾。夙為爾所取。簡之為聖民。殖之於聖土。聖土非有他。西溫主所住。

耶穌又謂眾曰：『予乃世之光、從予者不行黑暗中、必具生命之光。』

聖神者、即吾儕選民承業蒙贖之質也。此亦所以發揚天主之光輝云耳。

而爾等則為蒙選之族、赫赫司祭、雍雍神國實天主之眷屬也。天主既召爾等出於黑暗入於靈光、爾等可不表彰大德乎。

爾其戰戰兢兢、保身保群；斯群也、即主以其寶血贖得之教會、而聖神之所以立爾為主教、以資督導也。

雖然、男娶女嫁、究非罪孽；惟肉身上之苦痛、在所不免；吾欲免爾苦痛耳。

途次、有人謂耶穌曰：『任爾所之、吾願追隨。』耶穌應之曰：『狐有丘、鳥有巢、人子獨無枕首地。』又謂一人曰：『從予！』其人對曰：『主容吾先行歸葬吾父。』耶穌曰：『任彼死者葬死者、爾但宣揚天主國。』又一人曰：『吾願從主、第求許我別家人。』耶穌曰：『手既扶犂、又後顧、不堪擔當天主國。』

斯德法一家、乃亞該亞之首先奉教者、專心為聖教服務、此兄弟之所知也。

一經生進曰：『夫子任爾所之、我願相從。』

伯鐸祿曰：『今亦曷為弗克相隨乎？雖為主致命、亦所甘心！』

對於童貞者、吾未承主諭、惟吾既飽受主恩、自當忠實相告。吾鑒於世難方殷、竊謂能保守獨身、莫善焉。

『是時、天國將如童女十人、各持一燈、出迎新壻。

蓋主曾出重價以贖之矣。故爾亟宜在爾身上光榮天主也。

王女在宮中。榮華無與方。金線耀朝日。錦衣而繡裳。

禁止嫁娶、戒絕某種食物；夫食物乃天主所造也、亦在具有信德、而身體真道者、感恩受之而已矣。
