凡有血氣者、必知我天主燃之、不得撲滅、

爾曹惟驚駭驚異、惟迷昧迷蒙、彼醉並非因酒、步履欹斜、並非因飲醉人之物、

主使子民遭遇苦難、使我儕顛倒如醉暴酒、

惟爾以東民、民原文作女居於烏斯地者、今任爾喜樂、終亦飲苦盃、以至昏醉、露爾身體、

爾當仰望主、遵守主之道、主必使爾高升而得地為業、親眼得見惡人滅絕、

主如是云、不當飲苦杯者已飲之、則爾豈能免乎、決然不免、爾亦必飲之、

爾惟眼見此事、必得睹惡人遭報、

耶穌曰、爾所求者爾不知也、我將飲之杯、爾能飲乎、我將受之洗、爾能受乎、曰、能、

遂稍進、俯伏祈禱曰、父、若可得免、則使此杯離我、然非從我所欲、乃從爾所欲、

不屬之者居於其幕、或有硫磺撒於其所、

大主宰或作皇皇大主名為萬有之主曰、我將使其侯伯、哲士、方伯、官長、壯士、俱昏醉長眠、永不復醒、

善人見此必恐懼、且哂笑之、

因此其民亦歸於此、盈滿之水、遂而吸盡、
