It opened its mouth to blaspheme God, and to slander his name and his dwelling place and those who live in heaven.

The beast opened its mouth to speak evil things against God. It told lies about God and about the place where God lives. And it told lies about those who live in heaven with him.

It opened its mouth to utter blasphemies against God, blaspheming his name and his dwelling, that is, those who dwell in heaven.

And he spoke terrible words of blasphemy against God, slandering his name and his dwelling— that is, those who dwell in heaven.

諸天乎、在天之眾聖乎、可以懽忻而鼓舞矣！

嗟爾蝮種、本性既惡、言何能善。蓋有蘊於心、口則宣之。

嗟爾天廷諸聖、宗徒、先知、今宜懽忻而鼓舞。蓋天主已予以審判、以伸爾之義矣。

爾今所遊者、乃西溫山也、永生天主之城府也、天上之耶路撒冷也、無數天神之所集也、錄名天上之一總冢息之教會也；於斯有黜陟萬有之主宰焉、有德備義全者之靈魂焉、

今基督已至矣、彼乃新興恩寵時代之大司祭也。蓋彼已入閟帷、而成永久贖世之弘業。而其所通過之幕帷、實盡善盡美、非人手所設、亦不屬斯世；一入閟帷、永開生路、萬古暢通；其所攜者、非羔犢之血、乃其自身所流之寶血也。

又聞天上、人間、地下、海中一切眾生、同聲而呼曰：「願寶座之主及羔羊受享一切靈祉、一切尊榮、一切權能、永世靡暨！」

聖所之前幕曰外殿、中有燈臺几案、及供奉之餅。

未幾、望見不可勝數之群眾、係來自各種、各族、遐荒、重譯者；一律身着白袍、手持鳳尾棕枝、肅立寶座與羔羊前、

蓋基督所入者、非一人手所倣造之聖所；彼實已直達天廷、且為吾人之故、而仰謁天顏矣。

厥後、聞大聲髣髴自天上廣眾而發曰：「普天同慶！當將一切救恩、光榮、權能歸我天主；天主黜陟幽明、聰明、正直、已予熒惑全世之大娼以判決、而伸其忠僕流血之冤！」既又曰：「普天同慶！厥娼被焚之煙、世世不熄！」於是二十四老及四靈物、俯伏肅拜御極之天主曰：「心所願也！普天同慶！」又一音自寶座中發曰：「凡厥忠僕及爾等寅畏之者、無大無小、咸當心歌腹咏、頌美天主。」又聞髣髴廣眾之聲、如浪濤之澎湃、大雷之隆隆曰：「普天同慶！吾主天主全能者登極矣！

二證聞大音自天呼之曰：「升此！」即飄然乘雲升天、諸敵皆目擊。

此事甫畢、予舉目仰觀、忽見天門洞開，曩者所聞彷彿吹角之音者、至是復語予曰：「升此、將示爾以未來之事。」

並聞巨音自寶座而發曰：「睹哉、睹哉、天主之幔帷降世！主將長留人間；世人當得為其子民，天主自願為其所天；

發於心者、如惡念、謀害、姦淫、苟合、攘竊、偽證、訕主、

座之四周、設有二十四位、二十四老、白衣、戴金冠而坐。

蓋天主之神性、實全寓於基督之身。

道成人身。居我儕中。吾儕親睹。孔德之容。惟一聖子。無上光榮。妙寵真諦。充溢厥躬。

宜其於宇宙萬有中、基督位居乾元；天主無窮之蘊藏、欣然於基督乎是寓；
