主手持杯、滿斟醲酒、酒沫外溢、將酒傾出、使地上惡人、吸盡渣滓、

耶和華之手執爵、充以雜質、其酒浮沫、傾之而出、地上惡人飲之、必盡其渣滓兮、

耶和華執爵、酒味殊烈、調劑甚厚、主斟之出、俾天下惡人、啜其渣滓兮。

In the hand of the Lord is a cup full of foaming wine mixed with spices; he pours it out, and all the wicked of the earth drink it down to its very dregs.

In the hand of the Lord is a cup. It is full of wine mixed with spices. It is the wine of his anger. He pours it out. All the evil people on earth drink it down to the very last drop.

For in the hand of the Lord there is a cup with foaming wine, well mixed, and he pours out from it, and all the wicked of the earth shall drain it down to the dregs.

俾目睹禍患之至、親受全能主之震怒、

主將網羅、烈火、硫磺、熱風、降於惡人之身、此乃惡人當得之報、

主以色列之天主在默示中諭我曰、爾自我手接此爵、盛以忿怒之酒者、我遣爾至列國、使彼咸飲、

又有第三天使隨其後、大聲曰、若有拜獸及獸像、於額或於手受其印誌者、必飲天主盛怒之酒、乃無所攙雜者、斟於天主盛怒之杯、又必受苦於火與硫磺中、在諸聖天使及羔之前、

大邑裂為三、異邦諸邑傾圮、巴比倫大邑為天主記憶、欲以盛天主大怒之酒杯予之飲、

非深夜飲酒、常來求調和之酒者乎、

主使子民遭遇苦難、使我儕顛倒如醉暴酒、

爾必告之曰、萬有之主以色列之天主如是云、爾曹當飲、飲醉以致吐哇、傾仆不起、因我必使鋒刃之災臨爾曹、如彼不願接爵於爾手以飲、則爾告之曰、萬有之主如是云、爾必飲之、

禍哉斯人、有勇僅在飲酒、有能力僅在調和醇醪、

我遂自主手接爵而往、至主所遣我往之諸國、予彼飲之、

耶路撒冷歟、醒哉醒哉、興起、爾已由主之手、飲其怒杯、昏醉之大罇、爾已飲之、而吸之殆盡、

主爾之天主、為己民伸冤者、爾之天主如是云、昏醉之杯、我已接於爾手、我震怒之大罇、爾不復飲之、

因此其民亦歸於此、盈滿之水、遂而吸盡、
