他們飽嘗你家中的肥甘，你給他們喝你喜樂河的水；

你們要知道：耶和華已經把忠信的人分別出來歸於自己，我向耶和華呼求的時候，他就垂聽。

我又聽見有大聲音從寶座上傳來，說：「看哪，神的居所在人間，神將要與人一同居住。他們將要做他的子民，神將要親自與他們同在，做他們的神。神要從他們的眼中抹去一切淚水。將來不再有死亡，也不再有悲傷、哭泣或痛苦，因為先前的事已經過去了。」

蒙主所愛的弟兄們，我們應該為你們常常感謝神，因為神為了救恩的緣故，就藉著在聖靈裡的分別為聖，以及真理的信仰，揀選了你們做為初熟的果子。

又因為耶和華揀選了雅各歸於自己，揀選了以色列作他珍貴的產業。

他揀選了自己的僕人大衛，從羊圈中把他挑選出來，從所照顧的哺乳母羊當中把他帶出來，為要牧養自己的子民雅各，自己的繼業以色列。

我的心就像飽嘗了骨髓脂油，我的口要以歡樂的嘴唇發出讚美。

眾城門哪，當抬起你們的頭！永久的門哪，你們要被抬起，好讓榮耀的王進來！

那得勝的，我將要讓他在我神的聖所中做柱石，他絕不再出去。我要把我神的名，我神之城的名——就是從我的神那裡、從天上降下來的新耶路撒冷的名，和我的新名，都寫在他身上。

至於我，我要在公義中仰望你的臉；當我醒來時，就因你的形像而滿足。

他們將不再飢餓，也不再乾渴；太陽或任何炎熱也不會傷到他們；因為在寶座中的羔羊將牧養他們，領他們到生命水的泉源；神要從他們的眼中抹去一切淚水。」
