They gape at Me with their mouths, Like a raging and roaring lion.

他們向我張開着嘴，像獅子在抓撕、在吼叫。

他們向我張大了口，如同撕抓吼叫的獅子。

向我張口、如咆哮吞噬之獅兮、

其口孔張、吼似猛獅兮、

向我張口、猶如猛獅攫物而吼、

健牡紛紛兮。圍我周匝。來自巴珊兮。洶洶相逼。

Roaring lions that tear their prey open their mouths wide against me.

They are like roaring lions that tear to pieces what they kill. They open their mouths wide to attack me.

they open wide their mouths at me, like a ravening and roaring lion.

Like lions they open their jaws against me, roaring and tearing into their prey.

They open their mouths against me— lions, mauling and roaring.

They open their mouths wide at me, As a ravening and roaring lion.

They gape upon me with their mouth, As a ravening and a roaring lion.

They open their mouths against me— lions, mauling and roaring.

They gaped upon me[ with] their mouths,[ as] a ravening and a roaring lion.

They open their mouths to devour me like a roaring lion that rips its prey.

They open their mouths wide against me, lions tearing prey and roaring.

They also opened their mouth wide against me, And said,“ Aha, aha! Our eyes have seen it.”

As a lion is eager to tear his prey, And like a young lion lurking in secret places.

All our enemies Have opened their mouths against us.

All your enemies have opened their mouth against you; They hiss and gnash their teeth. They say,“ We have swallowed her up! Surely this is the day we have waited for; We have found it, we have seen it!”

They gape at me with their mouth, They strike me reproachfully on the cheek, They gather together against me.

Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour.

All those who see Me ridicule Me; They shoot out the lip, they shake the head, saying,

Now the chief priests, the elders, and all the council sought false testimony against Jesus to put Him to death,but found none. Even though many false witnesses came forward, they found none. But at last two false witnesses came forwardand said,“ This fellow said,‘ I am able to destroy the temple of God and to build it in three days.’”And the high priest arose and said to Him,“ Do You answer nothing? What is it these men testify against You?”But Jesus kept silent. And the high priest answered and said to Him,“ I put You under oath by the living God: Tell us if You are the Christ, the Son of God!”Jesus said to him,“ It is as you said. Nevertheless, I say to you, hereafter you will see the Son of Man sitting at the right hand of the Power, and coming on the clouds of heaven.”Then the high priest tore his clothes, saying,“ He has spoken blasphemy! What further need do we have of witnesses? Look, now you have heard His blasphemy!

Save Me from the lion’s mouth And from the horns of the wild oxen! You have answered Me.

Her princes in her midst are like wolves tearing the prey, to shed blood, to destroy people, and to get dishonest gain.Her prophets plastered them with untempered mortar, seeing false visions, and divining lies for them, saying,‘ Thus says the Lord GOD,’ when the Lord had not spoken.

Then the chief priests, the scribes, and the elders of the people assembled at the palace of the high priest, who was called Caiaphas,and plotted to take Jesus by trickery and kill Him.

Lord, how long will You look on? Rescue me from their destructions, My precious life from the lions.

Lest they tear me like a lion, Rending me in pieces, while there is none to deliver.
