The fear of the Lord is pure, enduring forever. The decrees of the Lord are firm, and all of them are righteous.

The law that brings respect for the Lord is pure. It lasts forever. The commands the Lord gives are true. All of them are completely right.

And what great nation is there, that hath statutes and ordinances so righteous as all this law, which I set before you this day?

Now these are the ordinances which thou shalt set before them.

And it will come to pass, as soon as I am gone from thee, that the Spirit of Jehovah will carry thee whither I know not; and so when I come and tell Ahab, and he cannot find thee, he will slay me: but I thy servant fear Jehovah from my youth.

Thy righteousness is like the mountains of God; Thy judgments are a great deep: O Jehovah, thou preservest man and beast.

Give the king thy judgments, O God, And thy righteousness unto the king’s son.He will judge thy people with righteousness, And thy poor with justice.

Yea, in the way of thy judgments, O Jehovah, have we waited for thee; to thy name, even to thy memorial name, is the desire of our soul.

And Ahab called Obadiah, who was over the household.( Now Obadiah feared Jehovah greatly:for it was so, when Jezebel cut off the prophets of Jehovah, that Obadiah took a hundred prophets, and hid them by fifty in a cave, and fed them with bread and water.)

And he said, Lay not thy hand upon the lad, neither do thou anything unto him; for now I know that thou fearest God, seeing thou hast not withheld thy son, thine only son, from me.

He will bless them that fear Jehovah, Both small and great.

The transgression of the wicked saith within my heart, There is no fear of God before his eyes.

for true and righteous are his judgments; for he hath judged the great harlot, her that corrupted the earth with her fornication, and he hath avenged the blood of his servants at her hand.

And Joseph said unto them the third day, This do, and live; for I fear God:

The fear of Jehovah is the beginning of wisdom; A good understanding have all they that do his commandments: His praise endureth for ever.Praise ye Jehovah. Blessed is the man that feareth Jehovah, That delighteth greatly in his commandments.His seed shall be mighty upon earth: The generation of the upright shall be blessed.Wealth and riches are in his house; And his righteousness endureth for ever.Unto the upright there ariseth light in the darkness: He is gracious, and merciful, and righteous.Well is it with the man that dealeth graciously and lendeth; He shall maintain his cause in judgment.For he shall never be moved; The righteous shall be had in everlasting remembrance.

I have sworn, and have confirmed it, That I will observe thy righteous ordinances.

And we know that the judgment of God is according to truth against them that practise such things.

But the former governors that were before me were chargeable unto the people, and took of them bread and wine, besides forty shekels of silver; yea, even their servants bare rule over the people: but so did not I, because of the fear of God.

At midnight I will rise to give thanks unto thee Because of thy righteous ordinances.

Turn away my reproach whereof I am afraid; For thine ordinances are good.

And I heard the altar saying, Yea, O Lord God, the Almighty, true and righteous are thy judgments.

The fear of Jehovah is to hate evil: Pride, and arrogancy, and the evil way, And the perverse mouth, do I hate.

I will give thanks unto thee with uprightness of heart, When I learn thy righteous judgments.

And they said, Cornelius a centurion, a righteous man and one that feareth God, and well reported of by all the nation of the Jews, was warned of God by a holy angel to send for thee into his house, and to hear words from thee.

Behold then the goodness and severity of God: toward them that fell, severity; but toward thee, God’s goodness, if thou continue in his goodness: otherwise thou also shalt be cut off.

as it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one;There is none that understandeth, There is none that seeketh after God;They have all turned aside, they are together become unprofitable; There is none that doeth good, no, not so much as one:Their throat is an open sepulchre; With their tongues they have used deceit: The poison of asps is under their lips:Whose mouth is full of cursing and bitterness:Their feet are swift to shed blood;Destruction and misery are in their ways;And the way of peace have they not known:There is no fear of God before their eyes.

I know, O Jehovah, that thy judgments are righteous, And that in faithfulness thou hast afflicted me.

He showeth his word unto Jacob, His statutes and his ordinances unto Israel.

And they sing the song of Moses the servant of God, and the song of the Lamb, saying, Great and marvellous are thy works, O Lord God, the Almighty; righteous and true are thy ways, thou King of the ages.
