因此，主－萬軍之耶和華必使亞述王的壯士變為瘦弱，在他的榮華之下必有火點燃，如同火在燃燒一般。

有一陣風從耶和華那裏颳起，把鵪鶉從海上颳來，散落在營地和周圍；一邊約有一天的路程，另一邊也約有一天的路程，離地面約有二肘。百姓起來，整天整夜，甚至次日一整天，都在捕捉鵪鶉。每人至少捉到十賀梅珥，各自擺在營的四圍。但肉在他們牙間還未咀嚼時，耶和華的怒氣向百姓發作，用極重的災禍擊殺百姓。那地方就叫基博羅‧哈他瓦，因為他們在那裏埋葬了貪慾的百姓。

他們吃了，而且飽足；這樣就隨了他們所欲的。但在他們滿足食慾以前，食物還在他們口中的時候，神的怒氣就向他們上騰，殺了他們當中肥壯的人，打倒以色列的青年。

我們聽見從地極有人歌唱：「榮耀歸於公義的那一位！」我卻說：「我滅亡了！我滅亡了，我有禍了！詭詐的還在行詭詐，詭詐的還在大行詭詐。」
