主造大明、以定日時、日入不爽其刻兮、

主造月以定節令、使日沈西、不差時刻、

中天挂月。以序時節。叮嚀驕陽。出納無忒。

He made the moon to mark the seasons, and the sun knows when to go down.

Then God said,“ Let lights appear in the sky to separate the day from the night. Let them be signs to mark the seasons, days, and years.Let these lights in the sky shine down on the earth.” And that is what happened.God made two great lights— the larger one to govern the day, and the smaller one to govern the night. He also made the stars.God set these lights in the sky to light the earth,to govern the day and night, and to separate the light from the darkness. And God saw that it was good.

The sun rises at one end of the heavens and follows its course to the other end. Nothing can hide from its heat.

Give thanks to him who made the heavenly lights— His faithful love endures forever.the sun to rule the day, His faithful love endures forever.and the moon and stars to rule the night. His faithful love endures forever.

“ Have I looked at the sun shining in the skies, or the moon walking down its silver pathway,and been secretly enticed in my heart to throw kisses at them in worship?If so, I should be punished by the judges, for it would mean I had denied the God of heaven.

And when you look up into the sky and see the sun, moon, and stars— all the forces of heaven— don’t be seduced into worshiping them. The Lord your God gave them to all the peoples of the earth.

“ Have you ever commanded the morning to appear and caused the dawn to rise in the east?

It is the Lord who provides the sun to light the day and the moon and stars to light the night, and who stirs the sea into roaring waves. His name is the Lord of Heaven’s Armies, and this is what he says:
