For as high as the heavens are above the earth, so great is his love for those who fear him;

He loves those who have respect for him. His love is as high as the heavens are above the earth.

誦主之號。謝主之恩。以傳萬國。以告生靈。

天慈洵靡已；但能懷寅畏、承澤無窮世。

臥而思惡起而行。羞惡之心早淪泯。

然富於慈悲之天主、按其愛人之大德、緣基督之偉功、拔吾人於罪中、起吾人於已死、俾吾人得與基督同享生命；且天主實已賜吾人托基督而復活、托基督而位於諸天之上矣。夫天主之所以為此者、乃欲假吾人因基督耶穌而受之慈惠、以昭示其無窮之恩德於後世耳。

所恃我主。大慈大仁。千秋萬歲。常若和春。

歌詠主大仁。傳述主大義。仁義固無窮。諷誦亦不已。

庶能與諸聖共體其奧旨之廣之長之高之深；乃至基督不可思議之仁愛、亦能心領神會；則天主無窮之蘊藏、將沛然充爾之身。
