The one who guards a fig tree will eat its fruit, and whoever protects their master will be honored.

A person who guards a fig tree will eat its fruit. And a person who protects their master will be honored.

Whoever tends a fig tree will eat its fruit, and he who guards his master will be honored.

As workers who tend a fig tree are allowed to eat the fruit, so workers who protect their employer’s interests will be rewarded.

( TO SOLOMON): My own vineyard is before me. You, O Solomon, may have a thousand, And those who tend its fruit two hundred.

Now he who plants and he who waters are one, and each one will receive his own reward according to his own labor.

The hardworking farmer must be first to partake of the crops.

Blessed are those servants whom the master, when he comes, will find watching. Assuredly, I say to you that he will gird himself and have them sit down to eat, and will come and serve them.

Do you see a man who excels in his work? He will stand before kings; He will not stand before unknown men.

Blessed is that servant whom his master, when he comes, will find so doing.

And he said to him,‘ Well done, good servant; because you were faithful in a very little, have authority over ten cities.’

Blessed is that servant whom his master will find so doing when he comes.Truly, I say to you that he will make him ruler over all that he has.

If anyone serves Me, let him follow Me; and where I am, there My servant will be also. If anyone serves Me, him My Father will honor.

For to this you were called, because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that you should follow His steps:

Behold, as the eyes of servants look to the hand of their masters, As the eyes of a maid to the hand of her mistress, So our eyes look to the Lord our God, Until He has mercy on us.

The Lord was with Joseph, and he was a successful man; and he was in the house of his master the Egyptian.And his master saw that the Lord was with him and that the Lord made all he did to prosper in his hand.So Joseph found favor in his sight, and served him. And the keeper of the prison committed to Joseph’s hand all the prisoners who were in the prison; whatever they did there, it was his doing.The keeper of the prison did not look into anything that was under Joseph’s authority, because the Lord was with him; and whatever he did, the Lord made it prosper.

Bondservants, obey in all things your masters according to the flesh, not with eyeservice, as men-pleasers, but in sincerity of heart, fearing God.

See, I have told you beforehand.

So Moses arose with his assistant Joshua, and Moses went up to the mountain of God.

Therefore the leprosy of Naaman shall cling to you and your descendants forever.” And he went out from his presence leprous, as white as snow.

Now he went in and stood before his master. Elisha said to him,“ Where did you go, Gehazi?” And he said,“ Your servant did not go anywhere.”

But Jehoshaphat said,“ Is there no prophet of the Lord here, that we may inquire of the Lord by him?” So one of the servants of the king of Israel answered and said,“ Elisha the son of Shaphat is here, who poured water on the hands of Elijah.”
