铁磨铁，磨出刃来；朋友相感也是如此。

Then Jonathan, Saul’s son, arose and went to David in the woods and strengthened his hand in God.

You therefore must endure hardship as a good soldier of Jesus Christ.

Strengthen the weak hands, And make firm the feeble knees.Say to those who are fearful-hearted,“ Be strong, do not fear! Behold, your God will come with vengeance, With the recompense of God; He will come and save you.”

Beloved, do not think it strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened to you;but rejoice to the extent that you partake of Christ’s sufferings, that when His glory is revealed, you may also be glad with exceeding joy.

Then he said,“ If the Syrians are too strong for me, then you shall help me; but if the people of Ammon are too strong for you, then I will come and help you.Be of good courage, and let us be strong for our people and for the cities of our God. And may the Lord do what is good in His sight.”

My brethren, count it all joy when you fall into various trials,

Therefore do not be ashamed of the testimony of our Lord, nor of me His prisoner, but share with me in the sufferings for the gospel according to the power of God,

For this reason I also suffer these things; nevertheless I am not ashamed, for I know whom I have believed and am persuaded that He is able to keep what I have committed to Him until that Day.

for which I suffer trouble as an evildoer, even to the point of chains; but the word of God is not chained.Therefore I endure all things for the sake of the elect, that they also may obtain the salvation which is in Christ Jesus with eternal glory.This is a faithful saying: For if we died with Him, We shall also live with Him.If we endure, We shall also reign with Him. If we deny Him, He also will deny us.If we are faithless, He remains faithful; He cannot deny Himself.

that no one should be shaken by these afflictions; for you yourselves know that we are appointed to this.

And they said to the messengers who came,“ Thus you shall say to the men of Jabesh Gilead:‘ Tomorrow, by the time the sun is hot, you shall have help.’” Then the messengers came and reported it to the men of Jabesh, and they were glad.Therefore the men of Jabesh said,“ Tomorrow we will come out to you, and you may do with us whatever seems good to you.”

Whoever rebels against your command and does not heed your words, in all that you command him, shall be put to death. Only be strong and of good courage.”

But all the Israelites would go down to the Philistines to sharpen each man’s plowshare, his mattock, his ax, and his sickle;and the charge for a sharpening was a pim for the plowshares, the mattocks, the forks, and the axes, and to set the points of the goads.

And they said to Joshua,“ Truly the Lord has delivered all the land into our hands, for indeed all the inhabitants of the country are fainthearted because of us.”
