援爾於惡者之道、脫出詞乖謬之人、

救爾於惡道、救爾脫於言辭乖戾之人、

Wisdom will save you from the ways of wicked men, from men whose words are perverse,

Wisdom will save you from the ways of evil men. It will save you from men who twist their words.

delivering you from the way of evil, from men of perverted speech,

Wisdom will save you from evil people, from those whose words are twisted.

It will rescue you from the way of evil— from anyone who says perverse things,

To rescue you from the way of evil, From a person who speaks perverse things;

To deliver you from the way of evil, From the man who speaks perverse things,

To deliver thee from the way of evil, From the men that speak perverse things;

rescuing you from the way of evil— from the one who says perverse things,

To deliver thee from the way of the evil[ man], from the man that speaketh froward things;

to deliver you from the way of the wicked, from those speaking perversity,

to deliver you from the way of evil, from the men who speak perverse things,

毋自欺也、與惡人交、喪吾德、

寅畏耶和華者、疾惡而弗為、志傲行暴者、皆我所深惡。

主曰、爾出不潔者中、自為樹立、不近於彼、吾則納爾、

與智人為友者、自生智慧、與愚人為侶者、必致敗亡。

不與惡人居、不與妄人交兮、予痛疾惡黨、杜絕匪類兮、

世多強暴、余從爾令、彼人所為、不效其行、余遵爾道、如隕如越、維爾是望、予扶予翼、

頑嚚者啟人爭競之端、讒間者離人心腹之交。惡人誘鄰里為不善、彼將作惡、皺眉以運謀、切齒而決計。

惡者之途毋履、罪人之路毋由、見則避之、裹足而不入。惡人不為不軌、則卧有不安、不使人傾危、則寢有不暇。其所飲食、若餅若酒、皆取諸非義。

耶和華所深惡者、忤逆之輩、所神契者、行義之人。

爾中將有人起、以叛道之言、蠱惑門徒、

爾嘗殺人害人、手污指穢、口尚虛詞、舌施詭詐。人喜涉訟、不懷公義、不尚真實、譸張為幻、藏於中者詭譎、行於外者邪慝。若煦蝮卵、若織蛛網、食其卵者必死、破其卵則蝮出。

棄愚蠢之徒、由智慧之道、則可得生。

擯斥忤逆、杜絕匪類兮、

使我心不向邪僻、不效惡人、不與彼同享珍羞兮。

爾小子、惡人誘爾、不可從也。如彼曰、爾我偕行、我匿於歧途、見無辜者殺之。彼猶生存、害之至死、如塚中尸僵、弗能動也。從而獲其珍寶、貨財充棟。爾與我公所有。爾小子、斷勿從之、毋行此徑。彼作惡、殺人流血、惟恐不速。譬諸羽族、見網羅之設、猶知飛避。何世之人、乃設網以自罹、設伏以取戾乎。凡貪非義之利而亡身者、亦若是矣。
