One who is on the path of life follows instruction, But one who ignores a rebuke goes astray.

谨守训诲的，乃在生命的道上；违弃责备的，便失迷了路。

遵守训诲的，行在生命道上；离弃责备的，走迷了路。

遵守训诲的，行在生命道上；离弃责备的，走迷了路。

听从教诲的，走生命之路；拒绝责备的，必步入歧途。

遵守教训的，走在生命的路上；离弃责备的，却是走上错路。

接受管教的，在生命路上；离弃责备的，必导致迷失。

守訓誨者乃從生命之道、棄督責者必致迷妄、或作守訓誨者示人生命之道棄督責者使人迷妄

Whoever heeds discipline shows the way to life, but whoever ignores correction leads others astray.

Anyone who pays attention to correction shows the path to life. But anyone who refuses to be corrected leads others down the wrong path.

Whoever heeds instruction is on the path to life, but he who rejects reproof leads others astray.

People who accept discipline are on the pathway to life, but those who ignore correction will go astray.

The one who follows instruction is on the path to life, but the one who rejects correction goes astray.

He who keeps instruction is in the way of life, But he who refuses correction goes astray.

He is in the way of life that heedeth correction; But he that forsaketh reproof erreth.

Now for this very reason also, applying all diligence, in your faith supply moral excellence, and in your moral excellence, knowledge,and in your knowledge, self control, and in your self control, perseverance, and in your perseverance, godliness,and in your godliness, brotherly kindness, and in your brotherly kindness, love.For if these qualities are yours and are increasing, they do not make you useless nor unproductive in the true knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.For the one who lacks these qualities is blind or short sighted, having forgotten his purification from his former sins.Therefore, brothers and sisters, be all the more diligent to make certain about His calling and choice of you; for as long as you practice these things, you will never stumble;for in this way the entrance into the eternal kingdom of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ will be abundantly supplied to you.

She is a tree of life to those who take hold of her, And happy are those who hold on to her.

For the commandment is a lamp and the teaching is light; And rebukes for discipline are the way of life

And you say,“ How I hated instruction! And my heart disdainfully rejected rebuke!

But He said,“ On the contrary, blessed are those who hear the word of God and follow it.”

A person often rebuked who becomes obstinate Will suddenly be broken beyond remedy.

And you neglected all my advice And did not want my rebuke;I will also laugh at your disaster; I will mock when your dread comes,

“ Therefore, everyone who hears these words of Mine, and acts on them, will be like a wise man who built his house on the rock.And the rain fell and the floods came, and the winds blew and slammed against that house; and yet it did not fall, for it had been founded on the rock.And everyone who hears these words of Mine, and does not act on them, will be like a foolish man who built his house on the sand.And the rain fell and the floods came, and the winds blew and slammed against that house; and it fell— and its collapse was great.”

My son, do not forget my teaching, But have your heart comply with my commandments;For length of days and years of life And peace they will add to you.

Do not let your speech cause you to sin, and do not say in the presence of the messenger of God that it was a mistake. Why should God be angry on account of your voice, and destroy the work of your hands?

Take hold of instruction; do not let go. Guard her, for she is your life.

He taught me and said to me,“ Let your heart take hold of my words; Keep my commandments and live;

See to it that you do not refuse Him who is speaking. For if those did not escape when they refused him who warned them on earth, much less will we escape who turn away from Him who warns us from heaven.

As he was talking with him, the king said to him,“ Have we appointed you to be a royal counselor? Stop! Why should you be put to death?” Then the prophet stopped and said,“ I know that God has planned to destroy you, because you have done this and have not listened to my counsel.”

One who loves discipline loves knowledge, But one who hates rebuke is stupid.

They did not accept my advice, They disdainfully rejected every rebuke from me.

For this reason we must pay much closer attention to what we have heard, so that we do not drift away from it.

Extend your ear and hear the words of the wise, And apply your mind to my knowledge;For it will be pleasant if you keep them within you, So that they may be ready on your lips.So that your trust may be in the Lord, I have taught you today, you indeed.
