Whatever you have learned or received or heard from me, or seen in me— put it into practice. And the God of peace will be with you.

Do what you have learned or received or heard from me. Follow my example. The God who gives peace will be with you.

What you have learned and received and heard and seen in me— practice these things, and the God of peace will be with you.

Keep putting into practice all you learned and received from me— everything you heard from me and saw me doing. Then the God of peace will be with you.

Be imitators of me, brothers and sisters, and watch carefully those who are living this way, just as you have us as an example.

Therefore, brothers and sisters, make every effort to be sure of your calling and election. For by doing this you will never stumble into sin.

But be sure you live out the message and do not merely listen to it and so deceive yourselves.

And the peace of God that surpasses all understanding will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.

If you understand these things, you will be blessed if you do them.

Finally then, brothers and sisters, we ask you and urge you in the Lord Jesus, that as you received instruction from us about how you must live and please God( as you are in fact living) that you do so more and more.For you know what commands we gave you through the Lord Jesus.For this is God’s will: that you become holy, that you keep away from sexual immorality,that each of you know how to possess his own body in holiness and honor,not in lustful passion like the Gentiles who do not know God.In this matter no one should violate the rights of his brother or take advantage of him, because the Lord is the avenger in all these cases, as we also told you earlier and warned you solemnly.For God did not call us to impurity but in holiness.Consequently the one who rejects this is not rejecting human authority but God, who gives his Holy Spirit to you.

But we command you, brothers and sisters, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, to keep away from any brother who lives an undisciplined life and not according to the tradition they received from us.For you know yourselves how you must imitate us, because we did not behave without discipline among you,and we did not eat anyone’s food without paying. Instead, in toil and drudgery we worked night and day in order not to burden any of you.It was not because we do not have that right, but to give ourselves as an example for you to imitate.For even when we were with you, we used to give you this command:“ If anyone is not willing to work, neither should he eat.”

The God of peace will quickly crush Satan under your feet. The grace of our Lord Jesus be with you.

Finally, brothers and sisters, rejoice, set things right, be encouraged, agree with one another, live in peace, and the God of love and peace will be with you.

“ Everyone who hears these words of mine and does them is like a wise man who built his house on rock.The rain fell, the flood came, and the winds beat against that house, but it did not collapse because it had been founded on rock.Everyone who hears these words of mine and does not do them is like a foolish man who built his house on sand.The rain fell, the flood came, and the winds beat against that house, and it collapsed; it was utterly destroyed!”

teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And remember, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”

And you became imitators of us and of the Lord, when you received the message with joy that comes from the Holy Spirit, despite great affliction.

So whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do everything for the glory of God.Do not give offense to Jews or Greeks or to the church of God,just as I also try to please everyone in all things. I do not seek my own benefit, but the benefit of many, so that they may be saved.Be imitators of me, just as I also am of Christ.

Now may the God of peace be with all of you. Amen.

Now may the God of peace who by the blood of the eternal covenant brought back from the dead the great shepherd of the sheep, our Lord Jesus Christ,equip you with every good thing to do his will, working in us what is pleasing before him through Jesus Christ, to whom be glory forever. Amen.

In other words, in Christ God was reconciling the world to himself, not counting people’s trespasses against them, and he has given us the message of reconciliation.Therefore we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God were making his plea through us. We plead with you on Christ’s behalf,“ Be reconciled to God!”

For you became imitators, brothers and sisters, of God’s churches in Christ Jesus that are in Judea, because you too suffered the same things from your own countrymen as they in fact did from the Jews,

Then Moses called all the people of Israel together and said to them:“ Listen, Israel, to the statutes and ordinances that I am about to deliver to you today; learn them and be careful to keep them!

“ Not everyone who says to me,‘ Lord, Lord,’ will enter into the kingdom of heaven– only the one who does the will of my Father in heaven.

And we are confident about you in the Lord that you are both doing– and will do– what we are commanding.

Now may the God of peace himself make you completely holy and may your spirit and soul and body be kept entirely blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.

But although we suffered earlier and were mistreated in Philippi, as you know, we had the courage in our God to declare to you the gospel of God in spite of much opposition.For the appeal we make does not come from error or impurity or with deceit,but just as we have been approved by God to be entrusted with the gospel, so we declare it, not to please people but God, who examines our hearts.For we never appeared with flattering speech, as you know, nor with a pretext for greed– God is our witness–nor to seek glory from people, either from you or from others,although we could have imposed our weight as apostles of Christ; instead we became little children among you. Like a nursing mother caring for her own children,with such affection for you we were happy to share with you not only the gospel of God but also our own lives, because you had become dear to us.For you recall, brothers and sisters, our toil and drudgery: By working night and day so as not to impose a burden on any of you, we preached to you the gospel of God.You are witnesses, and so is God, as to how holy and righteous and blameless our conduct was toward you who believe.As you know, we treated each one of you as a father treats his own children,exhorting and encouraging you and insisting that you live in a way worthy of God who calls you to his own kingdom and his glory.

But he replied to them,“ My mother and my brothers are those who hear the word of God and do it.”

So anyone who breaks one of the least of these commands and teaches others to do so will be called least in the kingdom of heaven, but whoever obeys them and teaches others to do so will be called great in the kingdom of heaven.For I tell you, unless your righteousness goes beyond that of the experts in the law and the Pharisees, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven.

His mother told the servants,“ Whatever he tells you, do it.”

But stand up and enter the city and you will be told what you must do.”

“ Look! The virgin will conceive and bear a son, and they will call him Emmanuel,” which means“ God with us.”

The Lord be with your spirit. Grace be with you.

You are my friends if you do what I command you.

Don’t be afraid, for I am with you! Don’t be frightened, for I am your God! I strengthen you– yes, I help you– yes, I uphold you with my saving right hand!

for God is not characterized by disorder but by peace. As in all the churches of the saints,

and whatever we ask we receive from him, because we keep his commandments and do the things that are pleasing to him.

Devise your strategy, but it will be thwarted! Issue your orders, but they will not be executed! For God is with us!
