“ Command the Israelites to give the Levites towns to live in from the inheritance the Israelites will possess. And give them pasturelands around the towns.

“ Command the Israelites to give the Levites towns to live in. The towns must come from the shares of land the people will have as their own. Also give the Levites the grasslands around the towns.

“ Command the people of Israel to give to the Levites some of the inheritance of their possession as cities for them to dwell in. And you shall give to the Levites pasturelands around the cities.

“ Command the people of Israel to give to the Levites from their property certain towns to live in, along with the surrounding pasturelands.

“ Command the Israelites to give cities out of their hereditary property for the Levites to live in and pastureland around the cities.

“ Command the sons of Israel that they give to the Levites from the inheritance of their possession cities to live in; and you shall give to the Levites pasture lands around the cities.

“ Command the children of Israel that they give the Levites cities to dwell in from the inheritance of their possession, and you shall also give the Levites common-land around the cities.

Command the children of Israel, that they give unto the Levites of the inheritance of their possession cities to dwell in; and suburbs for the cities round about them shall ye give unto the Levites.

蓋摩西曾在約但東分地與二支派、及支派之半、惟不以土壤與利未人為業。約瑟子有二、馬拿西及以法蓮、各成支派、故不以土壤與利未人為業、惟予邑郊、以藏貨財、為牧牲畜。

在猶大之南、自東至西、為獻地、長二萬五千杖、廣如他區聖所在其中、

爾掣籤分地為業、當以一區獻耶和華、以為禮、長二萬五千杖、廣一萬杖、區內四周、俱為聖地、其中有區、長廣各五百尺、其式維方、以為聖所、四周五十尺、以為隙地。當量聖地、長二萬五千杖、廣一萬杖、中有聖所、及至聖之室、祭司詣耶和華前、在聖所供役、可得斯地、以為聖所、及己宅第、斯地也、長二萬五千杖、廣一萬杖、凡殿中供役之利未人、可得一區、建室二十、聖地相向之所、當畵一區、長二萬五千杖、廣五千杖、使以色列全家、建邑於此、聖地邑城、附近之所、東西兩旁、當畵二區、為君王所得、其長與聖地東西之界相同。以色列地有王畿、以餘地予以色列族、循其支派而分之、故君不侵牟民利、

此非為我言乎、固為我言也、使耕者望穡而耕、打稻者共得所望焉、吾播爾者、感神之道、則穫爾養身之物、豈為過歟、他人且操此權、況我乎、然我不為之、寧忍諸難、恐阻基督福音、詎不知助祭司者食諸殿、侍祭壇者、頒諸壇乎、如是、主命傳福音、則以福音而生、明矣、

自猶大界至便雅憫界、為利未人業、與建邑之地、其東西之地為王畿、

惟利未族之邑、與邑中之宅、利未人隨時可贖。如人購利未族之宅、則宅與邑屆禧年必歸其主、蓋在以色列族中、利未人以邑中之宅為業。利未族邑郊之田、為其恆業、不得永鬻於人。

於迦南地示羅、告之曰耶和華諭摩西以邑郊賜我、及我牲畜。以色列族、由其業中、以邑郊賜利未人、循耶和華命、初掣籤乃哥轄族得邑、其中祭司亞倫之子孫、既為利未人、則掣籤而得在猶大、西面、便雅憫、三支派中、十三邑。哥轄族諸子掣籤而得、在以法蓮及但二支派、馬拿西支派之半者、十邑、革順子孫、掣籤而得、在以薩迦、亞設、納大利、三支派、又在巴山地、馬拿西支派之半者、十三邑。米喇哩族、在流便、伽得、西布倫、三支派、得十二邑。以上所載諸邑與郊、乃以色列族掣籤予利未人、循耶和華所諭摩西之命。○猶大西面二支派、所予之邑、臚列於左、利未支派、哥轄族、亞倫子孫、首掣籤而得邑。乃猶大山地、基列亞巴邑、即希伯崙及其郊。亞巴即亞納父也。惟邑郊之田、與其鄉里、咸歸耶孚尼子迦勒為業。給祭司亞倫子孫者、希伯崙與其郊、為誤殺人者、逋逃之藪、又給立拿與其郊、雅的與其郊、以實提摩與其郊、何倫與其郊、底必與其郊、亞因與其郊、若大與其郊、伯示麥與其郊、斯二支派所給者、共九邑。便雅憫支派給基遍與其郊、基巴與其郊、亞拿突與其郊、亞勒門與其郊、共四邑。於是祭司亞倫所得者、共得十三邑、與其郊。○利未支派哥轄諸子、亦掣籤而得地、在以法蓮支派中、所得者乃以法蓮山之示劍與其郊、為誤殺人者、逋逃之藪、亦得基色與其郊、及先與其郊、伯和倫與其郊、共四邑。在但支派中得利提基與其郊、其庇頓與其郊、亞雅倫與其郊、迦特臨門與其郊、共四邑。在馬拿西支派之半得大訥與其郊、迦特臨門與其郊、共二邑。哥轄族諸子所得者共十邑、與其郊。馬拿西支派之半給利未支派、革順族、巴山地之坷蘭與其郊、為誤殺人者逋逃之藪、又給別提喇與其郊、共二邑。以薩迦支派給基順與其郊、大巴辣與其郊、耶末與其郊、隱干寧與其郊、共四邑。亞設支派給米沙勒與其郊、押頓與其郊、黑甲與其郊、哩合與其郊、共四邑。納大利支派給加利利之基特與其郊、為誤殺人者逋逃之藪、又給哈末多耳與其郊、迦但與其郊、共三邑。革順族循其世系、所得者、共十三邑與其郊。○西布倫支派給利未支派之米喇哩族、約念與其郊、迦大與其郊、丁拿與其郊、拿哈辣與其郊、共四邑。流便支派給庇悉與其郊、雅哈撒與其郊、基底莫與其郊、米法押與其郊、共四邑。伽得支派給基列地之喇末為誤殺人者逋逃之藪、又給馬哈念與其郊、希實本與其郊、牙設與其郊、共四邑。於是利未支派米喇哩族、循其世系、所得者十二邑。以色列族業中、利未支派所得者、共四十八邑、與其郊、邑四周有郊、各邑皆然。
