又告诉摩西说：“我们到了你所打发我们去的那地，果然是流奶与蜜之地；这就是那地的果子。然而住那地的民强壮，城邑也坚固宽大，并且我们在那里看见了亚衲族的人。

“以色列啊，你当听！你今日要过约旦河，进去赶出比你强大的国民，得着广大坚固、高得顶天的城邑。那民是亚衲族的人，又大又高，是你所知道的；也曾听见有人指着他们说：‘谁能在亚衲族人面前站立得住呢？’你今日当知道，耶和华你的神在你前面过去，如同烈火，要灭绝他们，将他们制伏在你面前。这样，你就要照耶和华所说的赶出他们，使他们速速灭亡。

要使这百姓心蒙脂油，耳朵发沉，眼睛昏迷；恐怕眼睛看见，耳朵听见，心里明白，回转过来，便得医治。”

你以恩典为年岁的冠冕；你的路径都滴下脂油，

这些民照我所赐的食物得了饱足；既得饱足，心就高傲，忘记了我。

还是你藐视他丰富的恩慈、宽容、忍耐，不晓得他的恩慈是领你悔改呢？

因为耶和华你神领你进入美地，那地有河，有泉，有源，从山谷中流出水来。那地有小麦、大麦、葡萄树、无花果树、石榴树、橄榄树，和蜜。你在那地不缺食物，一无所缺。那地的石头是铁，山内可以挖铜。你吃得饱足，就要称颂耶和华你的神，因他将那美地赐给你了。”

我必以肥油使祭司的心满足；我的百姓也要因我的恩惠知足。这是耶和华说的。”
