Their children went in and took possession of the land. You subdued before them the Canaanites, who lived in the land; you gave the Canaanites into their hands, along with their kings and the peoples of the land, to deal with them as they pleased.

You also handed over their kings and the other nations in the land to Israel. You allowed Israel to deal with them just as they wanted to.

你曾用手赶出外邦人，却栽培了我们列祖；你苦待列邦，却叫我们列祖发达。因为他们不是靠自己的刀剑得地土，也不是靠自己的膀臂得胜，乃是靠你的右手、你的膀臂，和你脸上的亮光，因为你喜悦他们。

以色列的全会众都聚集在示罗，把会幕设立在那里，那地已经被他们制伏了。

这样，耶和华将从前向他们列祖起誓所应许的全地赐给以色列人，他们就得了为业，住在其中。

这样，约书亚照着耶和华所吩咐摩西的一切话夺了那全地，就按着以色列支派的宗族将地分给他们为业。于是国中太平，没有争战了。

但你们的妇人孩子，就是你们所说、要被掳掠的，我必把他们领进去，他们就得知你们所厌弃的那地。

叫他们这已经被魔鬼任意掳去的，可以醒悟，脱离他的网罗。

耶和华应许赐福给以色列家的话一句也没有落空，都应验了。

“耶和华你们的神不是与你们同在吗？不是叫你们四围都平安吗？因他已将这地的居民交在我手中，这地就在耶和华与他百姓面前制伏了。
