彼眾欺罔耶和華、而生私子、迨及月朔、必與其業偕亡、○

今僕於爾前、為爾僕以色列人、晝夜祈禱、認我以色列人所犯之罪、僕之祈禱、求爾側耳聽之、啟目顧之、我與父家、俱干罪戾、

曰、我上帝歟、予抱愧赧顏、不敢向我上帝仰面、蓋我儕愆尤滅頂、罪戾滔天、自我列祖迄今、世濟其惡、因我罪戾、我與我王祭司、付於列國王手、為其殺戮、虜掠攘奪、蒙恥含羞、有如今日、

娶其女為妻為媳、致使聖民與諸族相雜、牧伯民長為其首惡、

我與列祖同干罪戾、行邪作惡兮、我列祖在埃及、不明爾異蹟、不憶爾厚惠、乃於紅海悖逆兮、

爾其援我、脫於外族之手、彼口言誑、右手為偽兮、○

爾之孑遺、處於敵國、為一己之愆尤、並前人之罪戾、日漸消亡、是時必承己愆、及前人之罪、自認所行逆我、

以色列之上帝耶和華歟、爾乃公義、我儕為逃脫之遺民、咸負罪戾、有如今日、因此、莫能立於爾前、

若行於光、猶彼在光、則互有心交、而其子耶穌之血、潔我諸罪矣、若言無罪則自欺、而真理不在我衷、若承我罪、彼乃信義、必赦我罪、潔我諸不義矣、

自上伸手以拯我、援我於巨浸、及外族之手兮、

蓋爾民雅各家、充乎東方之俗、效非利士人為巫覡、且與異邦結盟、故爾棄之、
