上帝垂誡曰、

三日當備、越三日、我必降臨西乃山、顯於兆民。

我愛爾誡命、貴於兼金兮、爾所諭者、我悉以為善、但諸妄為、我憾之靡已兮、○

以上諸言、耶和華山上火中、幽深玄遠之處、以大聲諭眾、無所增益、勒於二碑、賜之於我。爾見遍山晦冥、厥火炎炎、聲由中出、爾既聞之、與族長長老至我前、曰、我之上帝耶和華、顯厥大榮、俾我目睹、我聞其聲、由火中出、今日始知上帝與人言、人尚保其生命。如我仍聽我上帝耶和華之言、則此大火、必燬我身、我將死亡、爾曷為使我死亡乎。蓋天下億兆、未有聽永生上帝之聲、由火中出、如我所聞、而尚保其生者。

爾道之本、真實無妄、爾之典章、永世弗替兮。○

昔在何烈山、立於爾上帝耶和華前時、耶和華諭我曰、當集斯民、使聽我言、必寅畏我、至於沒齒、教其子孫。其時、爾眾來前、立於山下、其山之象幽深立遠、厥火炎炎、至凌霄漢。耶和華由火中諭爾、惟聞其聲、不睹其像、告爾以約、書十誡於二碑、俾爾恪守。○

乃我行吾所不樂行、則證法為善、

耶和華兮、其律全備、可以蘇困兮、其法真實、可以破愚兮、其命正直、可以悅志兮、其誠純潔、可以發矇兮、其道至清而至久兮、其典至公而至義兮、較金尤貴兮、雖兼金之豐饒、亦無足比兮、較蜜尤甘兮、雖蜂房之滴瀝、亦不能擬兮、我為爾僕、得此兮為儆戒、守此兮為大賚、

以色列族乎、爾上帝耶和華、使爾所為何事、第畏爾上帝、行由其道、一心一意、愛之事之、恪守我今日所傳耶和華之禮儀禁令、以納福祉。

爾所至者、非有形之山、在彼火焰靉靆、幽暗暴風、號角之音、傳誡之聲、聞之者、請勿復言、上帝命、若走獸近山、必石擊箭射之、其命人不忍聞、所見可畏、摩西曰、吾恐懼戰慄、見爾所至者、郇山、永生上帝邑、天上之耶路撒冷、有天使咸集、不下數萬、有冢子之會錄於天、有鞫眾之上帝、有義人得全其神、有新約中保耶穌其灑血默籲、較亞伯為尤善、慎勿棄語汝者、若在地傳命者棄之、猶不能免刑、況白天而言者我背之、其刑焉能逭乎、當時其聞震地、今且曰於後、吾不第震地、又必震天、

三日黎明、雷電交作、黑雲蔽山、角鳴甚厲、遍營之民、無不戰慄。摩西率民出帷幕、佇立山下、以迓上帝。耶和華由火中降臨於西乃山、煙燄四塞、如自洪爐出、山嶽震動。角鳴愈久、聲愈宏遠、摩西禱告、上帝應之以聲。耶和華既降臨於西乃山、自山巔召摩西、摩西登焉。

昔爾行異跡、出我望外、臨格自天、山岡震動。

俾知我禮儀法度、有人遵從、則可得生、亦立我安息日、於我及彼之間為徵、俾知我乃耶和華、使之成聖。然以色列族在曠野、違逆乎我、不遵我禮儀、犯我安息日、浸假有人守我法度、則可保生、惟彼藐視之、故我自謂、必在曠野、震怒斯眾、滅之務盡。

耶和華諭摩西、使宣言以色列族、曰、爾觀我由天與爾言。

昔上帝自提慢而至、聖主自巴蘭山而來、榮光蔽天、頌聲遍地、

豈有他民、獲法度禮儀、如是之善、如我今日所示爾者乎、

山上火中、耶和華與爾晤對而言、

耶和華兮、爾秉公義、爾之典章、維正維直兮、

曰、耶和華至自西乃、顯自西耳、光自巴蘭、偕萬聖而來、由其右手火出為法。

望爾闢穹蒼而臨格、山嶽震動。

夫律法聖、誡亦聖、義且善也、曰、誡既善、乃為死我何耶、曰、不然、我之惡、以誡之善致死、是我之惡、因誡愈形其惡者也、我儕知法本乎聖神、我乃狥欲、自鬻於惡、
