亦請王降詔於虞人亞薩、使彼賜我材木、可建城門、築垣墉、與我所居之室、蒙上帝祐、王允所祈。

又赐诏书，通知管理王园林的亚萨，使他给我木料，做属殿营楼之门的横梁和城墙，与我自己房屋使用的。”王就允准我，因我神施恩的手帮助我。

又赐诏书，通知管理王园林的亚萨，叫他给我木材，作为殿的营楼之门、城墙，和我自己要住的房屋的横梁。”王就允准我，因为我上帝施恩的手帮助我。

求王再发一道诏书，通知管理王室园林的亚萨，吩咐他供给我木材，用来做圣殿堡垒的门梁及建造城墙和我住的房子。”王批准了我的请求，因为我的上帝施恩帮助我。

又赐诏书，给看守王的园林的亚萨，吩咐他给我木材，建造圣殿的营楼大门的横梁，以及建造城墙和我要入住的房屋。”因为我的神施恩的手帮助我，王就赐给我这一切。

求王再發一道詔書，通知管理王室園林的亞薩，吩咐他供給我木材，用來做聖殿堡壘的門梁及建造城牆和我住的房子。」王批准了我的請求，因為我的上帝施恩幫助我。

又賜詔書，給看守王的園林的亞薩，吩咐他給我木材，建造聖殿的營樓大門的橫梁，以及建造城牆和我要入住的房屋。”因為我的神施恩的手幫助我，王就賜給我這一切。

賜詔書通知看守王園林的亞薩，叫他給我木料、作附屬於殿的營樓之門的橫梁、作城牆、和我自己要進住的房屋的用處。』王就賜給我所求的，因為我的上帝至善的手幫助了我。

並請降詔於虞人亞薩、賜我材木、以建附殿之樓門及城垣、與我所居之室、蒙我上帝之佑、王允所祈、

亦求降詔於司王山林之臣亞薩、命之賜我材木、用以作圍殿城之門之柝梁、建城垣、與我所欲居之室、我蒙我天主之祐、王允我所求、

And may I have a letter to Asaph, keeper of the royal park, so he will give me timber to make beams for the gates of the citadel by the temple and for the city wall and for the residence I will occupy?” And because the gracious hand of my God was on me, the king granted my requests.

May I also have a letter to Asaph? He takes care of the royal park. I want him to give me some logs so I can make beams out of them. I want to use them for the gates of the fort that is by the temple. Some of the logs will also be used in the city wall. And I’ll need some for the house I’m going to live in.” God was kind to me and helped me. So the king gave me what I asked for.

and a letter to Asaph, the keeper of the king’s forest, that he may give me timber to make beams for the gates of the fortress of the temple, and for the wall of the city, and for the house that I shall occupy.” And the king granted me what I asked, for the good hand of my God was upon me.

And please give me a letter addressed to Asaph, the manager of the king’s forest, instructing him to give me timber. I will need it to make beams for the gates of the Temple fortress, for the city walls, and for a house for myself.” And the king granted these requests, because the gracious hand of God was on me.

And let me have a letter written to Asaph, keeper of the king’s forest, so that he will give me timber to rebuild the gates of the temple’s fortress, the city wall, and the home where I will live.” The king granted my requests, for the gracious hand of my God was on me.

and a letter to Asaph the keeper of the king’s forest, so that he will give me timber to make beams for the gates of the citadel which is by the temple, for the wall of the city, and for the house to which I will go.” And the king granted them to me because the good hand of my God was on me.

and a letter unto Asaph the keeper of the king’s forest, that he may give me timber to make beams for the gates of the castle which appertaineth to the house, and for the wall of the city, and for the house that I shall enter into. And the king granted me, according to the good hand of my God upon me.

And let me have a letter written to Asaph, keeper of the king’s forest, so that he will give me timber to rebuild the gates of the temple’s fortress, the city wall, and the home where I will live.” The king granted my requests, for I was graciously strengthened by my God.

And a letter unto Asaph the keeper of the king’s forest, that he may give me timber to make beams for the gates of the palace which[ appertained] to the house, and for the wall of the city, and for the house that I shall enter into. And the king granted me, according to the good hand of my God upon me.

and a letter for Asaph the keeper of the king’s nature preserve, so that he will give me timber for beams for the gates of the fortress adjacent to the temple and for the city wall and for the house to which I go.” So the king granted me these requests, for the good hand of my God was on me.

以色列族上帝耶和華、所傳摩西之律例、選士以士喇能明厥旨、既蒙上帝祐、所求於王、王無弗許。亞達泄西七年、以士喇自巴比倫詣耶路撒冷、以色列族中有庶民、祭司、利未人、謳歌者、司閽者、殿中奔走者、咸從之往。

我見司城哈拿尼亞、竭其忠心、寅畏上帝、非眾所能及、故使偕吾弟哈拿尼、同治耶路撒冷、

爾曹見我耶和華眷顧臣僕、震怒仇敵、必心神怡暢、筋骸堅固、若草萌芽。

上帝垂顧猶大長老、不止工作、及民奏大利烏也、乃以王諭示之。

但以理蒙上帝祐、令沾恩矜恤於宦官長、

我謝上帝、俾提多有戀慕爾之心、

然上帝佑我、故今日猶存、當尊卑前所證、無非先知及摩西預言之事、

曰今以後、不祇名雅各、更名以色列、蓋爾得志於上帝前、與人爭無不勝。

王志所向、耶和華挽其意、如回狂瀾於既倒。

拯出諸難、賜以智慧、俾得埃及王法老寵、法老封為埃及伯兼司宗室、

祭司長以利亞實、與其同宗祭司、建羊門、告竣、遂置扉、亦建邑垣、延及米亞、哈拿業之戍樓、次第告成。其次耶利哥人建垣、其次音利子撒刻建垣。哈西拿眾子建魚門、立柱置扉、鎖楗俱備。其次哥士孫、烏利亞子、米理末修葺、其次米示薩別孫、比哩家子、米書闌修葺。其次巴拿子、撒督修葺。其次提哥亞人修葺、然其世職不用力服勞上主之事。巴西亞子耶何耶大、比所太子米書闌修葺舊門、立柱置扉、鎖楗俱備。其次基遍人米拉底、米崙人雅墩、與河西方伯所轄之基遍、密士巴人修葺。其次金工哈海雅子烏泄修葺。其次製藥者之子哈拿尼亞修葺、惟廣城之地不與焉。其次治理耶路撒冷之半者、戶耳子哩巴雅修葺。其次哈路抹子耶底亞修葺、其室相對之所。其次哈沙尼子哈突修葺。哈林子馬其亞、巴哈摩押子哈述修葺一方、及爐前戍樓。其次哈羅黑子沙龍、及其女修葺。治理耶路撒冷之半者、即斯人也。哈嫩及撒挪亞居民修葺谷門、建門立柱、置扉、鎖楗俱備、亦建垣百丈、爰及糞門。哩甲子馬其亞、治理伯哈西琳者、修葺糞門、置扉、鎖楗俱備。治理密士巴之半者、谷何西子沙龍、建泉門、作蓋於門上以蔽之、置扉鎖楗俱備。王圃之側、西羅亞沼濱建垣、及大闢邑之階。其次治理伯夙之半者、押僕子尼希米修葺、大闢墓相對之所、及王之沼、傑士之室。其次利未人、巴尼子哩宏修葺。其次治理枝拉之半者、哈沙庇修葺、近其所居之地。其次治理枝拉之半者、希拿達子巴歪修葺。哈沙庇其宗人也。其次治理密士巴者、耶書亞子以察修葺、近邑隅、藏甲之所。其次薩排子巴錄竭力修葺。自邑隅至祭司長以利亞實門前。其次哥士孫、烏利亞子、米哩末修葺、自以利亞實門前、至其室隅。其次祭司居於平原者、修葺。其次便雅憫、哈述、於其室前、修葺。其次亞難尼孫、馬西雅子、亞薩哩亞、近其室、修葺。其次希拿達子品內、自亞薩哩亞之室、延及邑隅修葺。烏賽子巴拉修葺邑隅之前、附王高宮之戍樓、近於狴犴。其次巴綠子比太亞修葺。居於山岡、殿中奔走者、修葺邑東水門、附於戍樓。其次提哥亞人、修葺大戍樓前、及山岡之垣。祭司、自馬門而上、各在其室前修葺。其次音麥子撒督、在其室前修葺、其次司東門者、示迦尼子、示罵雅修葺。其次示利米子、哈拿尼亞、及薩拉第六子哈嫩修葺、其次比哩家子米書闌、在其室前修葺。其次金工之子、馬其亞修葺城垣、延至商賈貿易、及殿中奔走者之所、又至默甲門、及邑隅。金工與商賈、修葺自羊門至邑隅。

蓋耶和華感亞述王心、使助建以色列族上帝之殿、故歡然守無酵節、凡歷七日。

惟謂之曰、耶路撒冷、其地荒蕪、其門被燬、遭此蹂躪、爾所目擊、不如重築城垣、毋為人姍笑。我更以上帝眷祐、國王降詔之事、告之、彼曰、願建邑垣。於是眾志已堅、為此善事。

以士喇曰、當頌讚列祖之上帝耶和華、感動王心、修葺耶路撒冷之殿、俾我得沾王恩、言官群伯之惠、既蒙上帝祐、我志孔強、集以色列族中最著者、與我偕往。
