今僕於爾前、為爾僕以色列人、晝夜祈禱、認我以色列人所犯之罪、僕之祈禱、求爾側耳聽之、啟目顧之、我與父家、俱干罪戾、

我為爾僕、晨夕祈禱、求爾施恩於眾僕、以色列族願爾垂顧、冀爾俯聞、我與室人、及以色列族多獲罪愆、今於爾前、自言己過、

僕今為主之諸僕以色列人、晝夜所祈禱於主前、又認以色列人及我並我父家於主前所犯之罪、求主以目垂顧、側耳垂聽僕之祈禱、

let your ear be attentive and your eyes open to hear the prayer your servant is praying before you day and night for your servants, the people of Israel. I confess the sins we Israelites, including myself and my father’s family, have committed against you.

Please pay careful attention to my prayer. See how your people are suffering. Please listen to me. I’m praying to you day and night. I’m praying for the people of Israel. We Israelites have committed sins against you. All of us admit it. I and my family have also sinned against you.

let your ear be attentive and your eyes open, to hear the prayer of your servant that I now pray before you day and night for the people of Israel your servants, confessing the sins of the people of Israel, which we have sinned against you. Even I and my father’s house have sinned.

我還在說話、禱告、承認我的罪和我同胞以色列人的罪，為我神的聖山，向耶和華我的神懇求的時候；

我向耶和華我的神禱告、認罪，說：“主啊！偉大可畏的神，你向那些愛你（“你”原文作“他”），遵守你（“你”原文作“他”）誡命的人守約施慈愛。

“我的神啊，現在求你張開眼睛，求你的耳朵垂聽在這地方獻上的禱告。

耶和華的眼睛看顧義人，他的耳朵垂聽他們的呼求。

難道神不會為晝夜呼籲他的選民伸冤嗎？難道神會耽誤他們嗎？

我們的列祖冒犯了神，行了耶和華我們的神看為惡的事，離棄了他，轉臉不顧耶和華的居所，以背向他。

我們和我們的列祖都犯了罪，我們作了孽，也行了惡。

現在，我們的神啊！求你垂聽你僕人的禱告和懇求；主啊！為了你自己的緣故，使你的臉光照你這荒涼了的聖所。我的神啊！求你側耳而聽，睜眼垂顧我們的荒涼，和那稱為你名下的城；因為我們向你懇求，並不是因著自己的義，而是因著你的大憐憫。

那時我說：“我有禍了，我滅亡了！因為我是個嘴唇不潔的人，又住在嘴唇不潔的人民中間，又因為我親眼看見了大君王萬軍之耶和華。”

以斯拉禱告、認罪、哭泣，俯伏在神的殿前的時候，有一大群以色列人，包括男女小孩，在他面前聚集；眾人也都痛哭。

我們的先祖犯了罪，現在他們不在了；我們卻要擔負他們的罪孽。

我們從前也都和他們在一起，放縱肉體的私慾，隨著肉體和心意所喜好的去行；我們與別人一樣，生來都是可怒的兒女。

耶和華、拯救我的神啊！我晝夜都在你面前哀求。

無論在晚上、早晨或中午，我都哀訴唉哼；他必聽我的聲音。

主啊！求你聽我的聲音，求你留心聽我懇求的聲音。

人活在世上，因自己的罪受懲罰，為甚麼發怨言呢？我們要檢討和省察自己的行為，然後歸向耶和華。我們要向天上的神，誠心舉手禱告：“我們犯罪悖逆，你並不赦免。

“我後悔立了掃羅為王，因為他已經離去不跟隨我，也不執行我的命令了。”撒母耳非常忿怒，整夜哀求耶和華。

我向你承認我的罪，沒有隱藏我的罪孽；我說：“我要向耶和華承認我的過犯”；你就赦免我的罪孽。（細拉）

我們眾人都像不潔淨的人，我們所有的義，都像污穢的衣服；我們眾人都像葉子枯乾，我們的罪孽好像風一般把我們吹去。沒有人呼求你的名，沒有人奮起抓著你；因為你掩面不顧我們，使我們在自己罪孽的權勢下融化。

就寡居了，直到八十四歲（“就寡居了，直到八十四歲”或譯：“就寡居了八十四年”）。她沒有離開過聖殿，以禁食和禱告晝夜事奉主。

我感謝神，就是我像我祖先一樣，以清潔的良心所事奉的神，在禱告中晝夜不斷地記念你；

現在你們又想強迫猶大人和耶路撒冷人作你們的奴婢。難道你們自己就沒有得罪耶和華你們的神嗎？

然而耶和華我的神啊，求你垂顧你僕人的禱告和懇求，垂聽你僕人今天在你面前所作的呼籲和禱告。願你的眼睛晝夜看顧這殿，看顧你所說‘我的名要留在那裡’的地方。願你垂聽你僕人向這地方所發的禱告。

禱告說：‘我的神啊，我感覺羞恥慚愧，不敢向我的神你仰面；因為我們的罪孽多至滅頂，我們的罪過滔天。從我們列祖的日子直到今日，我們罪惡深重，由於我們的罪孽，我們和我們的王，以及祭司，都被交在各地的列王手中：被刀殺、被擄掠、被搶奪，丟臉蒙羞，就像今天的光景一樣。

那無依無靠獨居的寡婦，她們仰望神，晝夜不住地祈求禱告。

現在你們要向耶和華你們列祖的神認罪，遵行他所喜悅的旨意，與這地的民族和外族的女子分離。”
