Then, looking up to heaven, He sighed, and said to him,“ Ephphatha,” that is,“ Be opened.”

He looked up to heaven and with a deep sigh said to him,“ Ephphatha!”( which means“ Be opened!”).

Jesus looked up to heaven. With a deep sigh, he said to the man,“ Ephphatha!” That means“ Be opened!”

And looking up to heaven, he sighed and said to him,“ Ephphatha,” that is,“ Be opened.”

And when He had taken the five loaves and the two fish, He looked up to heaven, blessed and broke the loaves, and gave them to His disciples to set before them; and the two fish He divided among them all.

But He sighed deeply in His spirit, and said,“ Why does this generation seek a sign? Assuredly, I say to you, no sign shall be given to this generation.”

Therefore, when Jesus saw her weeping, and the Jews who came with her weeping, He groaned in the spirit and was troubled.

Then they took away the stone from the place where the dead man was lying. And Jesus lifted up His eyes and said,“ Father, I thank You that You have heard Me.

Jesus spoke these words, lifted up His eyes to heaven, and said:“ Father, the hour has come. Glorify Your Son, that Your Son also may glorify You,

Now as He drew near, He saw the city and wept over it,

And Peter said to him,“ Aeneas, Jesus the Christ heals you. Arise and make your bed.” Then he arose immediately.

Then Jesus said to him,“ Receive your sight; your faith has made you well.”

Sigh therefore, son of man, with a breaking heart, and sigh with bitterness before their eyes.And it shall be when they say to you,‘ Why are you sighing?’ that you shall answer,‘ Because of the news; when it comes, every heart will melt, all hands will be feeble, every spirit will faint, and all knees will be weak as water. Behold, it is coming and shall be brought to pass,’ says the Lord GOD.”

Then Jesus, again groaning in Himself, came to the tomb. It was a cave, and a stone lay against it.

And at the ninth hour Jesus cried out with a loud voice, saying,“ Eloi, Eloi, lama sabachthani?” which is translated,“ My God, My God, why have You forsaken Me?”

Now when He had said these things, He cried with a loud voice,“ Lazarus, come forth!”

Then Jesus, moved with compassion, stretched out His hand and touched him, and said to him,“ I am willing; be cleansed.”

For we do not have a High Priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but was in all points tempted as we are, yet without sin.

Jesus wept.

But Peter put them all out, and knelt down and prayed. And turning to the body he said,“ Tabitha, arise.” And she opened her eyes, and when she saw Peter she sat up.

He is despised and rejected by men, A Man of sorrows and acquainted with grief. And we hid, as it were, our faces from Him; He was despised, and we did not esteem Him.

Then He came and touched the open coffin, and those who carried him stood still. And He said,“ Young man, I say to you, arise.”

Then He took the child by the hand, and said to her,“ Talitha, cumi,” which is translated,“ Little girl, I say to you, arise.”
