You will eat but not be satisfied; your stomach will still be empty. You will store up but save nothing, because what you save I will give to the sword.

You will eat. But you will not be satisfied. Your stomachs will still be empty. You will try to save what you can. But you will not be able to. If you do save something, it will be destroyed in battle.

You shall eat, but not be satisfied, and there shall be hunger within you; you shall put away, but not preserve, and what you preserve I will give to the sword.

You will eat but never have enough. Your hunger pangs and emptiness will remain. And though you try to save your money, it will come to nothing in the end. You will save a little, but I will give it to those who conquer you.

使你们吃却不得饱足，行淫却不得后代。因为你们背弃耶和华，

我要断绝你们的粮源。那时候，十个妇女将用一个烤炉烤饼，按定量分饼给你们，你们吃却吃不饱。

又说：“人子啊，我要断绝耶路撒冷的粮源，叫他们焦虑地吃限量的饼，恐惧地喝限量的水。他们必缺粮少水，绝望地面面相觑，因自己的罪恶而灭亡。”

你们三分之一的人要死于饥荒瘟疫，三分之一的人要死于刀下，我必把其余的三分之一分散到各地各方，并拔刀追杀他们。

世人啊！恐怖、陷阱和网罗要临到你们。逃避恐怖的必掉进陷阱，从陷阱爬上来的必被网罗缠住。天上的水闸开启，大地的根基摇动。大地断裂、崩溃，剧烈震动。大地像醉汉东摇西晃，又像暴风中的茅屋摇来摆去。它被沉重的罪恶压垮，再也无法起来。

那时，人会拉住一位同族的弟兄说：“你至少还有件像样的衣服，你就做我们的首领吧，这废墟之地就交给你了！”但那人必高声说：“我救不了你们。我家中无衣无食，不要让我做首领。”耶路撒冷必崩溃，犹大必败落，因为他们的言行冒犯耶和华，蔑视荣耀的主。

所以主耶和华说：“看啊，我的仆人必有吃有喝，你们却要饥渴交加；我的仆人必欢喜，你们却要受羞辱；

以下是关于南地动物的预言：他们的使臣用驴驮着财物，用骆驼驮着珍宝，穿过公狮、母狮、蝮蛇和飞蛇出没的艰险之地，前往一个对他们毫无用处的国家。

快捷的无法逃遁，强壮的无力可施，勇猛的救不了自己，拉弓的站立不住，腿快的无法逃脱，骑马的救不了自己。到那日，最勇猛的战士也要丢盔弃甲，仓皇逃命。这是耶和华说的。

他们到处抢夺食物，仍饥饿难忍，甚至吃自己的骨肉。

我的怒火已经点燃，要烧到阴间的尽头，吞灭大地及其出产，甚至烧毁山的根基。“‘我要使灾祸连连临到他们，我的箭都射向他们。他们必饱受饥荒之苦，被瘟疫和灾祸吞噬，被猛兽和毒蛇袭击。外有刀剑杀戮，内有恐惧笼罩，少男、少女、婴儿、老人无一幸免。

你们种多收少，吃不饱，喝不足，穿不暖，挣来的工钱却放在漏口袋中。”

逃过惊恐的必落入深坑，爬出深坑的必陷入网罗，因为我惩罚摩押的时候到了。这是耶和华说的。

那时，有人盼望得到二十斗谷物，却只有十斗。有人盼望得到五十桶酒，榨酒池中却只有二十桶。

我看见主站在祭坛旁，祂说：“要击打柱顶，使殿的根基震动；要打碎柱顶，使殿宇坍塌压死众人。侥幸生还的，我要用刀剑杀掉，没有一个能逃脱，没有一个能幸免。即使他们挖洞钻进阴间，我也要把他们揪出来；即使他们爬上高天，我也要把他们拉下来；即使他们藏在迦密山的峰顶，我也要去搜寻，捉住他们；即使他们潜到海底，我也要派海蛇去吞咬他们；即使他们被敌人掳去，我也要命刀剑追杀他们。我要定睛在他们身上，不是要赐福而是要降祸。”
