Go out from Babylon! Flee from the Chaldeans! Declare with the sound of joyful shouting, proclaim this, Send it out to the end of the earth; Say,“ The Lord has redeemed His servant Jacob.”

He will bring me out to the light, And I will look at His righteousness.Then my enemy will see, And shame will cover her who said to me,“ Where is the Lord your God?” My eyes will look at her; At that time she will be trampled down Like mud of the streets.It will be a day for building your walls. On that day your boundary will be extended.It will be a day when they will come to you From Assyria and the cities of Egypt, From Egypt even to the Euphrates River, Even from sea to sea and mountain to mountain.And the earth will become a wasteland because of her inhabitants, On account of the fruit of their deeds.

He took into exile those who had escaped from the sword to Babylon; and they were servants to him and to his sons until the rule of the kingdom of Persia,

So He saved them from the hand of one who hated them, And redeemed them from the hand of the enemy.
