Writhe in agony, Daughter Zion, like a woman in labor, for now you must leave the city to camp in the open field. You will go to Babylon; there you will be rescued. There the Lord will redeem you out of the hand of your enemies.

People of Zion, groan with pain. Cry out like a woman having a baby. Soon you must leave your city. You must camp in the open fields. You will have to go to the land of Babylon. But that’s where the Lord will save you. There he will set you free from the power of your enemies.

Writhe and groan, O daughter of Zion, like a woman in labor, for now you shall go out from the city and dwell in the open country; you shall go to Babylon. There you shall be rescued; there the Lord will redeem you from the hand of your enemies.

Writhe and groan like a woman in labor, you people of Jerusalem, for now you must leave this city to live in the open country. You will soon be sent in exile to distant Babylon. But the Lord will rescue you there; he will redeem you from the grip of your enemies.

你們要從巴比倫出來，從迦勒底人那裡逃離。你們要用歡呼的聲音宣告，讓人聽見，傳揚出去，直到地極，說：「耶和華救贖了他的僕人雅各！」

你們的救贖主，以色列的聖者耶和華如此說：「為你們的緣故，我已經派人到巴比倫去，要把所有的人作為難民帶下來，使迦勒底人的歡聲變為哀歌。

耶路撒冷的廢墟啊，要放聲一同歡唱！因為耶和華安慰了他的子民，救贖了耶路撒冷。耶和華在萬國的眼前，顯露他聖潔的膀臂；所有地極都看見我們神的救恩。你們要離開，離開！要從巴比倫出來，不要碰不潔淨的東西！你們抬耶和華器皿的人哪，要從巴比倫城中出來，要潔淨自己！但你們出來不必急忙，行走不必奔逃，因為耶和華要行在你們前面，以色列的神必作你們的後盾。

是我以公義興起了居魯士，並要修直他一切的道路。他必重建我的城，釋放我的被擄之民，不是為工價，也不是為酬報。」這是萬軍之耶和華說的。

「我確確實實地告訴你們：你們將會痛哭、哀號，這世界反而會喜樂；你們將會憂傷，然而你們的憂傷要變成喜樂。婦人生產的時候會有憂慮，因為她的時候到了；但是生了孩子以後，她就因著有人出生到世上的喜樂，而不再記住那痛苦了。這樣，你們現在雖然也有憂慮，但是我會再見到你們，你們心裡將喜樂，並且沒有人能奪去你們的喜樂。

但那婦人被賜予了大鷹的兩個翅膀，使她可以飛到曠野，到她自己的地方；在那裡她被供養一期，二期，又半期，遠離那蛇的面。

錫安沒有產痛就生產，陣痛還沒有臨到，她就生下一個男孩。有誰聽過這樣的事？有誰見過這些事？國土能在一日之內就誕生嗎？國家能在一時之間就生出嗎？然而，錫安剛要有產痛，就生下了她的兒女！耶和華說：「我既然使她臨盆，難道不使她生產嗎？」你的神說：「我既然使她生產，難道會閉塞母胎嗎？」

耶和華宣告：「餵，與巴比倫居民同住的錫安哪，逃脫吧！」萬軍之耶和華這樣說，為了他的榮耀，他派遣我敵對那些擄奪你們的國家，因為那碰你們的，就是碰他眼中的瞳人。看哪，我向他們揮動我的手，他們就必成為自己奴僕們的掠物！這樣你們就知道：萬軍之耶和華派遣了我。

他拯救他們脫離仇恨者的手，從仇敵的手中救贖了他們。
