日落的時候，凡有病人的，不論害甚麼病，都帶到耶穌那裏。耶穌按手在他們各人身上，醫好他們。

耶穌出來，見有許多的人，就憐憫他們，治好了他們的病人。

當下，有人將一個被鬼附着、又瞎又啞的人帶到耶穌那裏，耶穌就醫治他，甚至那啞巴又能說話，又能看見。

甚至有人將病人擡到街上，放在牀上或褥子上，指望彼得過來的時候，或者得他的影兒照在甚麼人身上。

是因耶穌曾吩咐他說：「污鬼啊，從這人身上出來吧！」

天晚日落的時候，有人帶着一切害病的，和被鬼附的，來到耶穌跟前。合城的人都聚集在門前。耶穌治好了許多害各樣病的人，又趕出許多鬼，不許鬼說話，因為鬼認識他。

那時，有幾個遊行各處、念咒趕鬼的猶太人，向那被惡鬼附的人擅自稱主耶穌的名，說：「我奉保羅所傳的耶穌勅令你們出來！」做這事的，有猶太祭司長士基瓦的七個兒子。惡鬼回答他們說：「耶穌我認識，保羅我也知道。你們卻是誰呢？」惡鬼所附的人就跳在他們身上，勝了其中二人，制伏他們，叫他們赤着身子受了傷，從那房子裏逃出去了。

耶穌走遍加利利，在各會堂裏教訓人，傳天國的福音，醫治百姓各樣的病症。他的名聲就傳遍了敘利亞。那裏的人把一切害病的，就是害各樣疾病、各樣疼痛的和被鬼附的、癲癇的、癱瘓的，都帶了來，耶穌就治好了他們。

有人帶着一個癱子來見耶穌，是用四個人擡來的；

有人用褥子擡着一個癱子到耶穌跟前來。耶穌見他們的信心，就對癱子說：「小子，放心吧！你的罪赦了。」

耶穌責備他說：「不要作聲！從這人身上出來吧。」污鬼叫那人抽了一陣瘋，大聲喊叫，就出來了。眾人都驚訝，以致彼此對問說：「這是甚麼事？是個新道理啊！他用權柄吩咐污鬼，連污鬼也聽從了他。」

放豬的就逃跑進城，將這一切事和被鬼附的人所遭遇的都告訴人。

耶穌看見眾人都跑上來，就斥責那污鬼，說：「你這聾啞的鬼，我吩咐你從他裏頭出來，再不要進去！」
