到處都會有大地震、饑荒和瘟疫；會有恐怖的景象和天上來的大徵兆。

我又觀看，看哪，有一匹灰綠色的馬。那騎馬的，名叫「死亡」，陰間伴隨著他。他們被賜予了權柄可以統管地上的四分之一，用刀劍、饑荒、瘟疫和地上的野獸去殺害人。

其中有一個名叫阿伽布斯的站起來，藉著聖靈指明普天下將有大饑荒。這事在凱撒克勞迪時期果然發生了。

「再一次」這句話表明了那些能夠被震動的，就如被造之物，都要被挪去，好使那些不能被震動的可以存留。

我又觀看，羔羊打開第六個封印的時候，發生了大地震。太陽變黑像粗毛布，整個月亮變得像血。

「在太陽、月亮和星辰中將有徵兆出現；在地上，因海洋的咆哮和翻騰，列國的人就驚慌失措，陷入困惑混亂之中；人們預料到將要臨到世界的事，就嚇得魂不附體；因為諸天的各勢力都將被震動。

在天上我要顯奇事；在地上我要行神蹟——有血、有火、有煙霧。

大地全然破壞，徹底崩裂，劇烈搖動。大地搖搖晃晃，好像醉酒的人，又像茅屋搖來搖去。大地的過犯重壓在自己上面，它就塌陷，不能再起來。到那日，耶和華必在高天懲罰天上的眾軍，在地上懲罰地上的列王。他們必被聚在一起，像地牢中被囚的人；他們被關進監獄，多日以後必受懲罰。那時，月亮抱愧，太陽蒙羞，因為萬軍之耶和華必在錫安山、在耶路撒冷作王，並在他的長老們面前顯出榮耀。

我要招聚萬國與耶路撒冷作戰，這城將被攻取，房屋被搶掠，女人被強姦；城中的人必有一半被擄去，但剩餘的民不會從城中被剪除。那時，耶和華要出去，與那些國家爭戰，像他從前在戰鬥之日爭戰那樣。到那日，他的腳必站在橄欖山上——這山面向耶路撒冷，位於耶路撒冷的東邊；橄欖山必從東向西裂為兩半，形成極大的山谷，山的一半向北挪移，另一半向南挪移。

因著萬軍之耶和華的盛怒，地被焚毀，百姓必像燒火的燃料，沒有人憐恤自己的兄弟。他們在右邊割肉，還是飢餓；在左邊吞噬，仍不飽足；各人竟吞噬自己膀臂的肉。瑪拿西吞噬以法蓮，以法蓮吞噬瑪拿西，他們又一同敵對猶大。即使如此，耶和華的怒氣還不轉消，他的手仍然伸出。
