我確實地告訴你們：你們在地上所捆綁的，在天上將是已經被捆綁了的；你們在地上所釋放的，在天上將是被釋放了的。

我誠告爾、凡爾所縛於地者、亦必見縛於天、所釋於地者、亦必見釋於天、

吾實語爾、凡爾等所縛於地者、在天亦當見縛爾等所釋於地者在天亦當見釋。

“ Truly I tell you, whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven.

“ What I’m about to tell you is true. What you lock on earth will be locked in heaven. What you unlock on earth will be unlocked in heaven.

Truly, I say to you, whatever you bind on earth shall be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.

“ I tell you the truth, whatever you forbid on earth will be forbidden in heaven, and whatever you permit on earth will be permitted in heaven.

Truly I tell you, whatever you bind on earth will have been bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will have been loosed in heaven.

Truly I say to you, whatever you bind on earth shall have been bound in heaven; and whatever you loose on earth shall have been loosed in heaven.

“ Assuredly, I say to you, whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven.

Verily I say unto you, What things soever ye shall bind on earth shall be bound in heaven; and what things soever ye shall loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.

I assure you: Whatever you bind on earth is already bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth is already loosed in heaven.

Verily I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever ye shall loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.

“ I tell you the truth, whatever you bind on earth will have been bound in heaven, and whatever you release on earth will have been released in heaven.

Most certainly I tell you, whatever things you bind on earth will have been bound in heaven, and whatever things you release on earth will have been released in heaven.

我要把天國的鑰匙賜給你，你在地上所捆綁的，在天上將是已經被捆綁了的；你在地上所釋放的，在天上將是被釋放了的。」

你們在任何事上饒恕了誰，我也饒恕誰；實際上，我如果饒恕了什麼，我所饒恕的，就是在基督面前為了你們的緣故而饒恕的，

你們赦免誰的罪，誰的罪就已經被赦免了；你們留下誰的罪，誰的罪就已經被留下了。」

「你要給那在費拉德菲亞教會的使者寫信說：「那位神聖的、真實的，拿著大衛的鑰匙、開了就沒有人能關、關了就沒有人能開的，這樣說：我知道你的行為。看哪，我在你面前賜下了一個敞開的門，是沒有人能關上的；這是因為你能力小，但你遵守了我的話語，沒有否認我的名。

當你們聚集，與我的靈和我們主耶穌的權能同在的時候，你們要奉我們主耶穌的名，把這樣的人交給撒旦，使他的肉體毀滅，好讓他的靈魂在主的日子可以得救。

他們帶去的信這樣寫著：「做使徒的和年長的弟兄們，問候安提阿、敘利亞省和奇里乞亞省的外邦弟兄們。我們聽說從我們這裡出去的一些人，用一些話使你們不安，攪擾你們的心靈。其實我們沒有吩咐他們。我們已達成了一致，認為應該揀選幾個人，派他們與我們親愛的巴拿巴和保羅一起到你們那裡去。這兩個人都為我們主耶穌基督的名，已經把自己的生命置之度外。所以我們派了猶大和賽拉斯去，他們會親口報告同樣的事，因為聖靈和我們都認為，除了以下幾件必須遵守的事以外，不該把更多的重擔加給你們：就是要遠避祭過偶像的食物，遠避血和勒死的動物，遠避淫亂。你們如果保守自己遠離這些，就做得很好了。祝你們安康！」於是這些人被派遣，下到安提阿，召集了會眾，把信函交給他們。讀完了信，會眾因著那鼓勵的話而感到歡喜。
