耶穌對他們說：「你們當中有哪一個人，如果他有一隻羊在安息日掉進坑裡，他不會抓住羊，把牠拉上來呢？

要知道，你們從前像是迷失的羊，但現在卻回到了你們靈魂的牧人和監督的身旁。

我們全都如羊迷失，各人偏行己路；耶和華卻使我們眾人的罪孽都落在他身上。

我就像對聰明人在說話；我所說的，你們應當自己判斷。

我如失喪的羊迷失；求你尋找你的僕人，因為我沒有忘記你的誡命。

說：「關於基督，你們怎麼看？他是誰的後裔呢？」他們說：「是大衛的後裔。」
