吾實語爾、現立於斯者、必有未死之前、獲睹人子乘權而降焉。』

“ Truly I tell you, some who are standing here will not taste death before they see the Son of Man coming in his kingdom.”

耶稣又对他们说：“我确实地告诉你们：站在这里的有些人，在还没有尝到死的滋味之前，必定见到神的国带着权能来临。”

犹太人说：“现在我们知道你是有鬼魔附身的。亚伯拉罕死了，先知们也死了，你还说‘人如果遵守我的话语，就绝不会尝到死的滋味，直到永远。’

耶稣回答他，说：“你已经说了。不过我告诉你们：将来你们会看见人子坐在全能者的右边，在天上的云彩中来临。”

他们在这城逼迫你们，你们就逃到别的城去。我确实地告诉你们：在你们走遍以色列的城镇之前，人子必定来临。

不过我们看见的是：那暂时比天使低微的耶稣，因着死亡的痛苦被赐予荣耀和尊贵为冠冕，好使他藉着神的恩典，替所有的人尝了死的滋味。

那时候，人们将要看见人子带着极大的权能和荣耀，在云彩中来临。

耶稣在橄榄山上坐着，门徒们悄悄地前来问他：“请告诉我们，这些事什么时候会发生呢？你的来临和这世代的终结会有什么预兆呢？”

他得了圣灵的启示：自己在经历死亡以前会看见主的基督。

因为就像闪电从东边发出，直照到西边，人子的来临也将要这样。尸体在哪里，秃鹰就聚集在哪里。“那些日子的患难一过去，‘太阳就要变黑，月亮也不发光，星辰要从天上坠落，诸天的各势力也将被震动。’“那时候，人子的征兆将要显现在天上，地上的万族都要捶胸哀哭。他们将要看见人子带着极大的权能和荣耀，在天上的云彩中来临。在嘹亮的号角声中，他要差派他的天使们从四方，从天这边到天那边，召集他所拣选的人。

我告诉你们：他会很快地给他们主持公道。不过人子回来的时候，难道在地上能找到这样的信仰吗？”

所以你们要警醒，因为你们不知道你们的主哪一天回来。

并且等候他那从天降临的儿子，就是神使他从死人中复活的耶稣——他拯救我们脱离那将要来临的震怒。

那时候，人们将要看见人子带着极大的权能和荣耀，在云彩中来临。这些事一开始发生，你们就当挺起身、抬起头，因为你们的救赎近了。”
