耶稣召来他的门徒们，说：“我怜悯这群人，因为他们与我在一起已经三天了，也没有什么东西吃。我不愿意让他们饿着肚子回去，恐怕他们在路上晕倒。”

Jesus called his disciples to him and said,“ I have compassion for these people; they have already been with me three days and have nothing to eat. I do not want to send them away hungry, or they may collapse on the way.”

Then Jesus called for his disciples to come to him. He said,“ I feel deep concern for these people. They have already been with me three days. They don’t have anything to eat. I don’t want to send them away hungry. If I do, they will become too weak on their way home.”

Then Jesus called his disciples to him and said,“ I have compassion on the crowd because they have been with me now three days and have nothing to eat. And I am unwilling to send them away hungry, lest they faint on the way.”

Then Jesus called his disciples and told them,“ I feel sorry for these people. They have been here with me for three days, and they have nothing left to eat. I don’t want to send them away hungry, or they will faint along the way.”

Now Jesus called His disciples to Him and said,“ I feel compassion for the people, because they have remained with Me now for three days and have nothing to eat; and I do not want to send them away hungry, for they might faint on the way.”

Now Jesus called His disciples to Himself and said,“ I have compassion on the multitude, because they have now continued with Me three days and have nothing to eat. And I do not want to send them away hungry, lest they faint on the way.”

And Jesus called unto him his disciples, and said, I have compassion on the multitude, because they continue with me now three days and have nothing to eat: and I would not send them away fasting, lest haply they faint on the way.

Now Jesus summoned His disciples and said,“ I have compassion on the crowd, because they’ve already stayed with Me three days and have nothing to eat. I don’t want to send them away hungry; otherwise they might collapse on the way.”

Then Jesus called his disciples[ unto him], and said, I have compassion on the multitude, because they continue with me now three days, and have nothing to eat: and I will not send them away fasting, lest they faint in the way.

耶稣看见众人，就对他们动了怜悯之心，因为他们困苦流离，像羊没有牧人那样。

你们不要追求吃什么、喝什么，也不要挂虑。因为这一切都是世界外邦人所寻求的，而你们的父已经知道你们需要这些了。

天快亮的时候，保罗劝大家用饭，说：“你们一直挨饿等候，什么都不吃，今天是第十四天了。

他们在旷野中发现了一个埃及人，就把他带到大卫那里，给他东西吃，给他水喝。他们给了他一块无花果饼、两个葡萄饼，他吃了，就恢复了精神。他已经三天三夜没有吃东西，没有喝水了。

耶稣下了船，看见一大群人，就对他们动了怜悯之心，使其中的病人痊愈。黄昏的时候，门徒们来到耶稣面前，说：“这是个荒僻的地方，而且天已经晚了。请遣散人群，好让他们到村庄去为自己买些食物。”但耶稣说：“他们不需要离开，你们给他们吃的吧。”门徒们对耶稣说：“我们这里除了五个饼和两条鱼，就没有什么了。”耶稣说：“拿到我这里来。”于是耶稣吩咐众人坐在草地上，就拿起这五个饼和两条鱼，抬头望天，祝福了，然后掰开饼，递给门徒们，他们又分给众人。大家都吃了，并且吃饱了。他们把剩下的碎块收拾起来，装满了十二个篮子。吃的人，不算妇女和孩子，约有五千。

耶稣动了怜悯之心，摸了他们的眼睛。他们立刻重见光明，于是跟随了耶稣。

邪灵经常把他扔进火里或水里，要害死他。但你如果能做什么，就求你怜悯我们，帮助我们！”

主看见那寡妇，就对她动了怜悯之心，向她说：“不要哭了！”

就是说，正如约拿在大鱼的肚子里三天三夜，人子也照样将要在地心三天三夜。

因为我们的大祭司不是不能同情我们的种种软弱，而是在各方面照着与我们相同的样式受过试探，只是没有犯罪。

说：“大人，我们想起当那个迷惑人的还活着时曾经说过：‘在第三天我要复活。’

因为这一切都是外邦人所寻求的，而你们的天父已经知道你们需要这一切了。所以你们应当先寻求神的国和神的义，这一切都将加给你们了。

在那些日子里，又一次，有一大群人，他们没有什么东西吃。耶稣召来门徒们，对他们说：“我怜悯这群人，因为他们与我在一起已经三天了，也没有什么东西吃。如果我让他们饿着肚子回家，他们会在路上晕倒，因为有些人从远处而来。”他的门徒们回答：“在这旷野，从哪里能得食物让这些人吃饱呢？”耶稣问他们：“你们有多少饼呢？”他们回答说：“七个。”耶稣就吩咐众人坐在地上，于是拿起这七个饼，祝谢以后，掰开，不断递给他的门徒们，让他们分发。门徒们就分给众人；他们还有几条小鱼，耶稣祝福了，就吩咐把它们也分给众人。他们吃了，并且吃饱了。然后，他们把剩下的碎块收拾起来，装满了七个筐子。当时约有四千人。耶稣遣散了他们，随即与他的门徒们一起上船，来到达玛努达地区。

军兵中有人告诉他说：“你父亲让大家郑重起誓说：‘今天吃东西的人，是受诅咒的！’所以军兵就疲乏了。”约拿单说：“我父亲给这地带来了困扰。你们看，我尝了一点这蜂蜜，眼睛就明亮了。如果今天军兵能随意吃从仇敌夺来的东西，那该多好！现在被击杀的非利士人不就更多了吗？”那天他们击杀非利士人，从米克玛直到阿雅仑，军兵非常疲乏。
